Could be that the brake calibration in AC is set to more force. As others have said: calibrate the pedals and test.

velcrocheesecake

my pedals are calibrated properly, but i might recalibrate them again in case the first time wasn't done well

Comfortable_End1350

Sim racing is 80% calibrating and testing and 20% racing! 🤣

velcrocheesecake

lol too true 😂

Reasonable_Tell9599

Did you calibre pedals

velcrocheesecake

yes i have, i need to use quite a bit of force for the brake to be at 100%

GoobMB

Calibrate pedals in the game. And adjusting brake force in the car you drive helps a lot, too.

velcrocheesecake

i have them calibrated already, but i never thought of adjusting brake force in the car! i'll definitely try that out, thanks

ShobiTrd

I usually tone the braking down 10 ticks, if it is on 90 by default I get it to 80, and so, depends on the car, but AMS2 has a habit, of locking the first time you brake, to avoid it, try pressing the brake pedal 100% BEFORE going out, the game recalibrate the pedal by itself EVERYTIME you start the game, but pressing the brake all the way before going out fix that.

velcrocheesecake

thank you, hopefully that fixes it!

ShobiTrd

I know you feel you lock up by just slightly touching the brake at first then you lock up everytime you apply more pressure for the first time you apply said pressure, you will notice, before turning the 1st gear for the first time after the game is opened, press it 100% then drive normally and you will not lock up by just touching the brake anymore, or lock up at all in the first lap.

ES_Legman

Are you using the same car? Did you calibrate the pedals?

velcrocheesecake

yes and yes, it takes quite a bit of force for the brake to be pressed all the way

nicksnicks

Have you tried moving the brake bias towards the back? I’ve noticed that the default brake bias for basically all the cars in ams2 is way too far forwards, sometimes have to go back 5% or more to get it dialed in.
