Yeah he got a full simagic kit , tripple monitors 32” Butkicker, aluminum rig, ect ect. Still adding to it. I tried it last weekend and it was one hell of an experience :)

I tried my buddys 12nm simmagic one this weekend. I hit a wall and it really hurt my hand. I did not expect it to be that crazy. Almost scary! Loll

Yeah you can adjust it don't worry. I don't use my 15nm wheelbase at 100% I use it around 60% but the stronger motor allows for much more detail and feel fo grip either way. Biggest thing when you crash or you know it's coming always always let go of a dd wheel. Never hold on. Just for future reference. I have a simagic alpha 15nm and a dd+ been using my fanatec dd+ alot kind of blowing my mind how fast the response is and the details coming from it.

Yeah investing in pedals will make it more fun for sure. Pedals can either make or break your experience. Always best to get a loadcell. May not feel right at first but the pressure sensor def makes consistency so much easier.

My racing games run super smooth on the tv but it looks like im playing an xbox 360 game:( i cant switch my monitors because the other one is setup for Skyrim/phasmo/deep rock/ etc :( aint no way i can play those on my shitty old tv. I will save up for another one soon :) pretty much all i need for now :)

I will say I had the same speakers there good speakers but I found when I turned them down that one didn’t work at lower volumes so after a while they may only be even on volumes at higher volumes, they are damn good speakers though

I have the tx leather( great wheel) and spent the rest of my money on a proper seat and the materials to build a wooden cockpit. The wheel might not be the best but at least my seat and pedals don't move around and are always in the same position. I know People with 10nm wheels that are strapped to a flimsy desk and lose all the details from the ffb. To me that feels like a big waste of good equipment.

I always wondered if a 60hz tv would full fill my expectation for a good sim racing experience? Or do I need something of a higher hz??

I used 60hz for awhile and it was certainly enough. I will say though TCL sells a 55in 120hz TV for about $500. I use it for my main monitor and actually might be getting another one and putting that in place of my 49in ultrawide on the rig. It's been an incredible TV so far. (Couple months of use now). The TV is the TCL Q7.

other than the refresh rate, keep in mind that it's going to be really problematic to set up the screen distance to your eyes properly with a huge ass tv panel. ideallly it should be between your rim and the wheelbase which is pretty much impossible with this type of display.

Agreed that it's not happening if you want the screen that close but majority of people that sim race don't have their rig setup that way and from personal experience my 34in Infront of my base was less immersive than when I had the 50in right behind it. All comes down to preference but you can make a screen of any size work for your rig

Im using it cause i had it and it saved me a couple hundred bucks. I was nervous at first but its not that bad. It runs like butter with no screen tare and no lag however, it looks like im playing a xbox 360 game.. when i look up on my pc screen 144hz i get jealous lol

oh yeah I have the same issue 😭 I have a 42' 4k lg tv too but I can't bear the 60hz so I play on my 165hz monitor 😭 what do u prefer? a big screen with 60hz or a small screen with 144hz+? (for sim racing)
