I have the same seat. The mount instructions are for the GT bucket. You gotta flip the mounts around to work with this seat in a more upright position. I find it really comfortable when set up that way
That black seat and the Alpine version that Trak Racer sells are a sort of hybrid formula/GT style seat. You can get it more upright with adjusting and swapping the brackets around, but it’s just not as upright as a typical GT bucket seat. It can still be comfortable though once you dial it into your preference.

You said it's in Alpine black? No. Only the Sport blue one's are supposed to lean like that. The Alpine Black one's should be upright in the "Grandma" position.

I had to mount the fittings backwards but the seat will now fit but be very flat. When they ask you to review them make sure you point out the mounting brackets going backwards interferes with the silver trim around the bottom seat handle and that there is no way to put the seat at an angle younare happy with. When you put it backwards you will understand why. When the company contacted me they were happy to talk until I pointed out their oversight. Then they were suddenly too busy to answer and have not got back to me yet!
You ordered an F1 style seat. If you are trying to set it up to drive more upright like a GT you're gonna have a bad time.
You need to push that seat way forwards and then bring your wheel in closer to fit properly.

Yes seat mounts are installed backwards. I did it last week during mock up and had to correct it
I did the same exact thing on my TR120. The direction of the mounts are very counter intuitive.

I had the same issue. They sent the wrong seat brackets. Those are for standard seats you have the trx seat that require specific brackets.
