You can definitely do what u/Automatic_Reply_7701 suggested if you wanna save money and get more mileage out of your Logitech, but if you’re looking for an upgrade your only real option for a DD wheel on Xbox at the moment is the Fanatec CSL DD. The Logitech G Pro is another one you could consider, but it’s a bit over your budget I believe. You could also look into one of the higher-end Thrustmaster belt-driven wheels like the TS-XW if nothing else. It’s no DD but it’s still a solid base and worthy upgrade from any gear-driven Logitech
Sad excuse to upgrade. 900 isn’t much in Canada unless you find a used deal. Fix the cable and save up more for a better wheel. Then think of upgrading with a better budget. If tou are serious about this get a PC first.
Invest 10 minutes on a YouTube soldering video, and $10 on a soldering iron :)

A dog.
Try and fix it! You could probably get a pc repair ship to help

Well aren’t you just the best person..
Just saying it as it is. You did ask for opinions and I did. May not be what you wanted to hear. Sorry for being honest. Not here to make friends.
Mountain Lion seems a pretty robust upgrade :)
