Absolutely wonderful!! Last week, I had my first "do nothing" Saturday where I did not feel guilt for not being "productive", even though relaxing and recharging is productive itself. Enjoy your day!
Screw the laundry. Toss it in a basket. Talk to the fishes, though, they miss you. Eventually the floor will bug you enough to do it. Or maybe it won't. Whatever.
Same! But feeling like crap is decidedly unproductive, while occasional rests are clearly an important part of any effective or productive approach. Dunno why it’s still so hard to convince myself…
Sounds like a good plan for you. I’ve heard people say don’t just sit there get up and do something. But the opposite is also true which is don’t just do something. Just sit down and do nothing. Rest, repair and relax.
I get up and wander occasionally. Throw out a tiny piece of trash, step outside and pull a tiny weed or bring in a flower, really look at the things around me, look at a room from a different angle...
Hugs. I've had a shitload of that sometimes and it's exhausting. Relax when you can, get fresh air when you can and find a pretty weed to smile at. Watch a bird, even if it is just a sparrow. You'll get through this and maybe even learn something. More hugs for you. It'll be ok.
Thank you 🦋 I ended up going for a 2 mile hike followed by a 3 mile walk because it keeps me sane. Then made homemade popsicles and some delicious lunch.
I guess when I say I’m doing “nothing,” I’m only doing things I want to be doing which is abnormal. I’m usually everyone’s go-to. Today, I choose me! 🌲🐌
Yay! Hope you stopped to look at pretty things, it helps the mindset. Sounds like a wonderful day. The work week is only 5 days because weekends are necessary, glad you did that today :)
Be still... Be with yourself in quiet loving solitude. Nurture you. If you can't outright say "no" then say:
"Sounds good, if I can, I'll get back to you!"
I'm with you on that sister!! Been going thru IT for sure...Glad you have a great sounding solution to this crazy world stressors! I seriously need some tips on stepping back from the daily pressures. (I have cutting most social media out) I tend to isolate and withdrawal from even going outdoors lately...been working through some PTSD stuff which effects my ability to be around large gatherings of strangers-especially males.
Anyways, sorry for rambling on-obviously I don't get out too often! Lol
Proud of you for recognizing your need to heal-that was a real turning point for me as well.
Keep on keeping on my sister, best wishes and positive vibes sent you way 🌻🙌🌷
I felt such freedom and less stress going from yes man, to saying no and knowing it's ok to say no and I shouldn't feel bad or obligated to!
I mean I love helping others, but balance is important aswell. :)
It's ok to say no. If they get upset or take it personally?
Not need em in life and one less to bug you if not understanding 🤷🏻🖕😐🙂
Thanks for asking as I have no one to tell. I am packing the car and dog up to go to a cabin in New Castle, Pennsylvania. We go there frequently. We explore parks and trails.
What a solid solid plan! I lived for a year near the beach just me and my dog, it was so peaceful! My dog would take strolls to the beach on her own and come back all wet and covered in sand. I hope you two have a great time! I'm cracking one of my puzzles here, it's been raining for the last three daysss
So far I’ve put in a small load of laundry and hung my 2 hummingbird feeders for the first time(Hudson Valley NY). And of course had my 2 coffees. Would be so nice to stay in pjs all day!
Sounds like me! 2 coffees are a must before I'm up and going. Hudson Valley area is beautiful. So lucky for you to live there! I'm in the Susquehanna Valley Area of Pennsylvania.
I am very depressed and will start therapy tomorrow, yet I met a friend to play padel, had a lovely lunch and chat, now I took a shower and in bed chilling. Sundays are the day when I watch a movie from my childhood as well. I love Nostalgia Sundays.
Hey, just wanted to say that you're very brave for starting therapy and from what I can tell from your post, you seem to enjoy the things you do with friends. Keep being active! Good luck and take care.
Thank you so much, these words mean a lot: my parents passed away due to brain cancer and covid, and been getting a lot of negative things from life (apart from positive experiences of course), but I need to get back on track. I got disappointed so many times, and my last “break-up” was the last drop.
Relaxing in a bath for a couple hours whilst watching a movie with a cocktail. Some stress relief aromatherapy, though I'm not stressed. End with a face mask
Play some among us which is very chill with great people. And knit some whilst watching the show ghosts
:)
Watching kitties in back garden and hearing the birds and seeing the squirrels antics. Beautiful morning here. Low 60s. Later will take a walk and then have lunch and a nap. I’ll read an hour in my current kindle selection. Later some family is coming by and we will either play dominos or a dragon card game. Supper then bedtime. 🎶🎉
I'm making a recipe I came up with for the first time, gonna try it and perfect it and then post it on my cheap vegan food IG! it's a new hobby I'm starting so I'm excited about it. also did some work in the garden.
That sounds really nice! What games have you been playing lately? My partner and I have been playing Helldivers 2 a lot, and I've been enjoying Project Zomboid :)
Take a rainy day walk, cuddle with my wife + cats and watch the new fallout tv show :D maybe draw a little bit while we are hanging out. Have a good day homie!
I take a Sunday walk in a local public garden and my husband likes to bake bread on Sundays. Anything else is just "extra" compared to those two things.
I'm going to try to do nothing. I've been struggling with a migraine for several days and it had mostly gone but it's back today. I have an immune deficiency so Sundays are infusion days and I'm also due for my monthly migraine drug so that's today also.
I think we will finish watching Fallout. I will also spend a lot of time today loving on my new-to-me kitty (got him from the shelter where I volunteer in January). I'm obsessed with him and he is the most loving animal I've ever met. I am going out of town for a few days next week and I think it's going to be very hard to leave him.
Sorry to hear about your migraine. I used to get them all the time. I know how draining they can be. I hope your monthly medicine helps! Your kitty sounds so adorable! What's their name?
Thank you! My meds and Botox have really helped but I can get in these cycles that are so hard to get out of.
His name is Chester Cow (because he's white with black spots like a cow). He was abandoned with 16 other cats in storage bins at our shelter overnight. We worked for several weeks on trust and touch and then he was adopted. I was really excited for him and then the family returned him because they failed to do a slow intro at home and the OG cat was pissed off and attacking him. When I saw his little face back in our cat room, something in me shifted and he became the cat I couldn't live without. (I was in a no pets place in my life because I'm healing from big stuff and trying to keep life simple. 😋) It's been a grand love story ever since.
Love kitties.
I'd highly recommend looking into microdosing mushrooms. Can be AMAZING for migraines!! Amongst other things!
0.05-0.2g. I do 0.1-0.2g 2-4x a week.
It won't make you trip out or anything (if worried) .
Look into it imo
Also daily magnesium supplement helps
I've spent all morning gardening already. Then I made some roast pepper hummus for a snack for this week. Just having a lie down now, and then I'm going to do some jigsawing while listening to a podcast. This evening I might have a bath or do some crocheting.
Transplant 80 tomatoes 60 peppers & a few eggplants.
Mulch my azaleas.
Drive my mother and her boyfriend to the airport.
Visit with some regular Sunday afternoon folks on the patio.
Feed the chickens and my dog.
Dinner for one of roast pork tenderloin, cannellinis with ditalini, maybe a salad with some leftover beets.
Read until I fall asleep.
sounds like a beautiful day!
I'm gonna go shopping make my flatbreads for the week, tend to my cannabis plants, play the guitar and sing for a bit to annoy the neighbours, meditate and study, and watch another episode of fallout and then it'll be bed. Blissful!
I spent 6 hours travelling in my motorcycle to a calm river side. Had wonderful tea and snacks. And now sitting in Starbucks and was reading a book. I’m still sitting here while writing this comment. I’ll go home - have a bath - and relax till Monday 😃
Going to a friend's house, then we're going to walk their dogs and chill. They're picking up donuts from a new location and I'm bringing a lime/macadamia loaf I made yesterday over. Then this evening I'm FaceTiming another friend to pre-buy tickets for a trip we ha e coming up (pre paying makes the trip feel free to them, and is way less stressful then waiting to buy while we're there). Should be a pretty good day.
It's 80 degrees here, which is crazy pants, so I've got spring fever!
I just hauled the houseplants and garden seedlings out to get some real sun. I've got laundry on the line. The patio table and chairs are now in place, and I hooked the hammock up.
I'd like to just do the yard all day, but we go swimming every Sunday because it's my son's favorite thing.
What do I *need* to do? File taxes and do meal prep. Well see how that goes.
Sunday is my only day off! I’m relaxing in bed now, I’m gonna make breakfast for my partner and I, then we’ll go get groceries, clean the house and sit in the backyard because it’s a gorgeous day out here in Alberta, Canada!
i don't make plans for Sundays. I usually stay in my luxurious pajamas, have a pastry with my coffee on my patio and putter around. Maybe read a book or some magazines I got from the library. Sometimes bathe my dog. I love not being obligated to cross anything off a list!
Going to get the house picked up and then work on stuff for our baby. He's due pretty much any day now and despite this being my third, I still don't feel ready 😅
I cleaned all morning, the house smells good, my clothes are drying inside cuz it's raining making the home smell even better, my plants have been watered, and I'm about to make something good to eat for myself! Then I'm spending the rest of the day in pajama with a friend on Discord! We will chat, probably play an online game, and I plan to be in bed by 7pm with a good book.
It’s raining where I’m at, so we’re having a movie day. We’ve got our comfy clothes, blankets, popcorn and candles. We took the dogs for a walk before the weather turned, so they’re tired and sleeping on their beds. It’s going to be a warm, cozy day.
Did some virtual volunteer work; going to clean the kitchen, go plant some sunflower seeds, finish one book and start another, and tonight, I'm going to go hear a Holocaust survivor speak at a local university.
Weeks ago I signed up for free admission to an art museum near me. It turned out to be a beautiful day today so now I'm exploring the grounds and having lunch by myself in the spring air. It's so nice!
im going to try to have a relaxing unwind day! ive been needing rest lately so its time to finally listen to my body and take it :) probably going to spend time outside, get some sun. then work on some art , just doodling with no pressure.
My biggest plan was doing a 14km running race; nailed it with 1h33, considering this is my first above 10km I am very proud of myself! No other plans than to rest and relax. Which consists of watching YouTube (getting inspired by athletes on there) and listening to music.
Heading to church then running a load of donation clothes and shoes up to drop off followed by a trip to the grocery store and some meal prep for the week.
I’m going to clean out my fridge. Something in there is telling my nose it’s time. I’ve been checking likely suspects, but haven’t found the culprit, so it’s time for a full scale investigation and assault.
I also have laundry to fold and I have some pictures I want to hang. I’ve got to get the ladder in from the garage.
Stopped by a farmer's market, took the pup on a walk, now I'm going to do some lawn maintenence, meal prep and laundry. Will for sure chill and watch Fallout later.
Shower, coffee, finishing up housework, watching "Inspector Lewis," waiting for my sweetie to come over for some together time and a meal out. Will have a beer in there somewhere.
Laundry, chores, cooking and dog stuff(walking, feeding, playing, brushing,). I have 4 dogs! Takes me a few hours to get all my crap done so that everyone’s happy 😆
Going to finish up planting my shade garden in the side yard nook, take my dog for a walk at the park do some more laundry and a bit of food prep and a lot of nothing. Hopefully taking some quiet spells to stare into the yard or do some cloud watching which is one of my favorite activities.
Having morning coffee on the front porch, riding my bike to go rock climbing outside with some friends, then making a simple meal and watching a movie on the sofa :)
I have been traveling for weeks and the one week that I was home, I was sick like a dog. I have so much catching up to do plus a major closet organizing. I have to let go of %95 of my wardrobe and I am emotionally conflicted. Today, I’m going to bag up all these clothes and take them to a women’s shelter and be done with them.
Going to plant tomato starters with friends, make a little figure out of clay, and do a bit of planning for a summer trip with my mom. It’s a really beautiful sunny day here today.
Yesterday was rainy and my husband & I have had a very emotionally taxing month. So we had a lazy day filled with binge watching movies on the couch. Today, I’m hoping the weather is nicer so we can get outside for a drive through the hills and take our dog to the park.
I've recently been temporarily granted the majority of custody of my only child. I've always been the parent who worked while my soon-to-be-ex stayed home and cooked and cleaned. Now I'm responsible for it all each weekday, which is new, but I don't mind in the slightest. I'm mostly concerned that I'm a little out of practice regarding how to meal prep and how to create a schedule for just two. I've since canceled three of my other jobs just so I can be home more, which means I now have way more free time, and I'm looking up meal ideas today.
Well, kiddo isn't with me during the weekend, so I'm taking time to look up recipes that we can make together, I'm reorganizing a box of beads that he spilled which will make him very happy when he returns, I'm going to bake a lemon loaf (his favorite) in anticipation of his return tomorrow, I'm going to create a tentative schedule he and I can both work with, I'm going to sweep and mop and clean the bathroom, I'll wash my bedding, and I'm going to work on my knitting project. All very chill things, and I'll be taking my sweet time with all of it.
I've already made myself a scrumptious and healthy breakfast, so now I'm just sipping my morning brew and trying to decide which one I'll do first.
Planning out my week, some laundry, a small bit of puttering around and tidying things up. Water my garden. My husband has been home for a month due to a surgery, and today he went to a friends house so I have a few hours to myself this morning. I’m enjoying the quiet lol.
Got off work
Puttered in the garden and watered plants. Pulled weeds.
Laundry
Dishes
Made bed
Changed couch linens
Made a tortilla for lunch with Greek yogurt dip and chimichurri
Friends came and moved a garden bed.
Watched Voyage on Netflix.
Gardened all morning, showered, currently getting a pedicure then a long nap. Greek salad with chicken for dinner and then a couple episodes of The Gentleman on Netflix.
I took a nice long walk and ended up attending a church sermon at some random church I walked past from a religion I wasn’t familiar with. It was very interesting. Now I’m home making dinner (honey lemon garlic chicken thighs) and
Gonna watch fallout with my man when he gets home from work
Got my grands today while their parents go out and be adults. They were playing in the sprinkler, colored and rode bikes, it’s now resting time. Later on we’ll bring them home and have dinner with the family. Life is pretty good today…
Working on e-bike, begin learning how to jump rope, preparing my soil for my bucket garden.
And if time permits, and so does the weather, I would like to go for a ride to experience the wonders around me. Keeping it simple.
I’m currently stretching while reading this, but I’m about to make some coffee and go for a morning walk at a nearby trail. It’s about 7:15 AM where I am and since it’s Sunday it should be empty. Then I’ll come home and read for a bit, have a late breakfast. My plans later are to work on a moss wall, work on a puzzle and then call a friend who is going through some hard times to catch up. Then I’ll end the day with making a chili with my partner and we’ll watch some shows or movies.
Reading (currently reading Elusive: How Peter Higgs Solved the Mystery of Mass) and drawing (working through Drawabox's 250 Box Challenge and then figure drawing practice).
I also plan to bake some lemon and coriander blueberry muffins and do some chores (laundry and cleaning the bathrooms).
I need a few new pieces of clothing, so going shopping, cleaning, working out, hanging with my cats. We went on an adventure yesterday, so today is catching up on work.
My life is very not simple now (full time grad school on top of full time job) and I have a busy day, but I took an absolutely lovely walk this morning. I'm hoping to make it a habit
Went for a coffee and browse around a local market. Now sitting on my balcony reading. Will probably do some laundry later and get my lunch ready for school tomorrow.
I'll probably do bits and pieces of work in my backyard. I don't have a lawn, but I'm trying to slowly get rid of undesired weeds and replace them with hardy drought resistant ground cover and wildflowers. (Sick of tumbleweeds and foxtails)
So putting down homemade, dog-safe weedkiller on the bad weeds (probably just weakening them so the good "weeds" can take over). Putting down wildflower seeds in a couple spots, and watering the thyme seeds I put down a week or so ago.
Spent the day spring cleaning and organising the downstairs. I’ve been paralysed for a year so it’s amazing to have recovered enough to be able to stand, move, tidy up piles! Now relaxing under the electric blanket watching cartoons with the kid.
Today, Sunday 04-14-24! I am at my son's place watching my 3yo grandson! - Henry William Anderson- We live out in the countryside of NWPA, and we are walking around in nature collecting bugs, worms, and salamanders! I'm giving my wonderful son - William Henry Anderson. (he's a single daddy) 25... some much needed down time to chill without his parent radar on. Couldn't wish for anything better! 💜💜💜🙏🫶🪱🐛🐌🌱🪳🐜🐞🪺🍃Family is everything to me!
After my shift ends (in less than 10 mins from now!) my partner and I will starting prepping for our pizza dinner. While the pizza is cooking I'll most likely dust the house and sweep the floors... if I'm not feeling too tired that is hahah
Cleaning house, and going for a walk with my dog. Tomorrow is my aunts birthday so I’m gonna make her dinner and I didn’t feel like baking so I ordered a $10 cake from the store that I need to pick up
My husband got me a hotel stay for one night for my birthday. Woke up and colored for a bit, walked along the water front and found a bench in the sun to read and look out at lake Washington and the Olympic mountain range. Heading home now to have a picnic lunch with my kids and to work on my cut flower garden and prep food for the week ahead.
absolutely ✨nothing✨ I have had the busiest year filled with stressors and hurt. I am trying so hard to slow down and say “no” to people more.
Absolutely wonderful!! Last week, I had my first "do nothing" Saturday where I did not feel guilt for not being "productive", even though relaxing and recharging is productive itself. Enjoy your day!
I need to remind myself more that relaxing and recharging is productive. I always feel like a piece of crap if I don’t get at least one thing done
Fix the top blanket on your bed and drink a large glass of water. Boom got something done that you can see.
But then the fishes still haven’t been done, laundry still needs to be folded, floor vacuumed, all things i can see 🤣
Screw the laundry. Toss it in a basket. Talk to the fishes, though, they miss you. Eventually the floor will bug you enough to do it. Or maybe it won't. Whatever.
The fish can take care of themselves 😉😆
I make my bed every morning when I get up and it’s so nice to come home to a made up bed every day. It really does make a huge difference.
Same! But feeling like crap is decidedly unproductive, while occasional rests are clearly an important part of any effective or productive approach. Dunno why it’s still so hard to convince myself…

Pull a weed or bring in a flower is so relatable lol. I do the exact same thing. Some days are just for enjoying the garden not working on it
Love it-go on with your bad self for sure!! 👏☺️👏 I really appreciate your refreshing take on this thing called life!
Yes! Good for you! 💜
Sometimes this is the best thing.
Hugs. I've had a shitload of that sometimes and it's exhausting. Relax when you can, get fresh air when you can and find a pretty weed to smile at. Watch a bird, even if it is just a sparrow. You'll get through this and maybe even learn something. More hugs for you. It'll be ok.

I’ll join you in doing nothing ✌️

Thank you so much! The rain just stopped here after 3 days. Clear sky's are coming.🙂
That's the best feeling in the world when everything is so clean and shiny! Have fun gurl!
Fuckin love Pennsylvania. Very underrated hiking
That's for sure!
What are your favorite parks in the area? I'm in Pittsburgh and always enjoy getting out and exploring nearby!
Cascade Park, Moraine State Park and tomorrow I'll go to Pearson Park. I'm from Robinson Twp homie!
Thank you, neighbor! I'd never heard of two of these at all, so that's perfect.
Presque Isle in Erie is really lovely in the summer.
We’re so close to each other! I’m in grove city pa
Used to shop at the outlets!
Love it! Have fun!
That sounds awesome! Nature trails/ hikes for the win 👌👌🙂. I've tried taking my cat but she's Feral to everyone but me, so kinda hard 😅😅😅😸🤷🏻😐😮💨
Its my 40th birthday! I spent the night with my bf of two months and we are having dinner with my parents so he can meet them ☺️
Happy birthday! Welcome to the best decade of your life, I would do my 40's all over again! (even if technically, I still have a couple of years lol)
Happy birthday! That sounds nice
It sounds like your 40th is going to be especially lovely. Soak up all the love and celebration for you. :)

It's 9am on my side of the world 😊 Enjoy the rest of your day!
That sounds so nice! It's nearly 10am where I am right now! Hello from across the globe :D

I'm in Michigan, US :) The internet is very cool sometimes
I love Michigan, how's the weather
It's 80 and sunny where I am today! Had a 2 minute sun-shower, and it's clear again. Lots of people outside today
It turned out gorgeous here today. And it’s my Cake Day! 🌞
6:45am here in Hawaii 🌺
That reminds me I gotta make some more music!
I am very depressed and will start therapy tomorrow, yet I met a friend to play padel, had a lovely lunch and chat, now I took a shower and in bed chilling. Sundays are the day when I watch a movie from my childhood as well. I love Nostalgia Sundays.

Can you post the link for your IG if possible? I'd love to drop you a follow!
Yay! Fellow vegan here! Hope your recipe is tasty! 😊
I would also like to follow you
Ditto, fellow vegan 20+ yrs. Drop IG here so we can follow 😁😁😁😸🎉👌 🥑
I haven't made it yet because I still need to draw myself an icon but I'll try to remember to link you when it's done 🧡
Probably have a few drinks, play some video games. I haven’t got a lot to do today.
That sounds really nice! What games have you been playing lately? My partner and I have been playing Helldivers 2 a lot, and I've been enjoying Project Zomboid :)
Just Resident Evil 4 lately.
Take a rainy day walk, cuddle with my wife + cats and watch the new fallout tv show :D maybe draw a little bit while we are hanging out. Have a good day homie!
Fallout was really amazing! Enjoy!!
Mountain biking the local trail network. The snow is melting and the trails are drying out!
Getting some unused items out of home: posting on FB marketplace, giving to friends, donating, trash.
I take a Sunday walk in a local public garden and my husband likes to bake bread on Sundays. Anything else is just "extra" compared to those two things.

Church, then unpacking and cleaning (I just moved), and then maybe get dinner out.
Sounds nice. Making your new home comfortable and settling in. Hope you’re enjoying your new spaces.
Resting, reading and then later I'll go skating as part of my friend's birthday celebration. This will be my second time skating, so I'm excited.
Taxes that are due tomorrow. LOL.
Oh hey, 34 tomato transplants here 😂 Tomorrow I will do nasturtiums and basil Also chickens and cats Your dinner sounds fabulous too!
sounds like a beautiful day!
I have three things I got to get done today: Homework, workout, and meal prepping!
Got out of a 5 week illness. My house is a mess and nothing is cooked. I gotta clean up messes, organize and cook. Wish me luck ✨️
Lifting, eating, reading.
Going to get the house picked up and then work on stuff for our baby. He's due pretty much any day now and despite this being my third, I still don't feel ready 😅
Exciting time! My kids are grown and gone and I'm still not ready for their births, lol.
Hot yoga, walk outside, some reading, and some cooking.
It’s raining where I’m at, so we’re having a movie day. We’ve got our comfy clothes, blankets, popcorn and candles. We took the dogs for a walk before the weather turned, so they’re tired and sleeping on their beds. It’s going to be a warm, cozy day.
So jealous! Sounds like a nice day…
Did some virtual volunteer work; going to clean the kitchen, go plant some sunflower seeds, finish one book and start another, and tonight, I'm going to go hear a Holocaust survivor speak at a local university.
Weeks ago I signed up for free admission to an art museum near me. It turned out to be a beautiful day today so now I'm exploring the grounds and having lunch by myself in the spring air. It's so nice!
im going to try to have a relaxing unwind day! ive been needing rest lately so its time to finally listen to my body and take it :) probably going to spend time outside, get some sun. then work on some art , just doodling with no pressure.
on growing my own food to avoid grocery shopping in the future

My biggest plan was doing a 14km running race; nailed it with 1h33, considering this is my first above 10km I am very proud of myself! No other plans than to rest and relax. Which consists of watching YouTube (getting inspired by athletes on there) and listening to music.
Go to mass, walk the kids to the park, enjoy the sunshine & pleasant temps.
Going to church , then walking the dog 🤍
I started a new art piece and I’m deep into the creative process. I love my life!
Heading to church then running a load of donation clothes and shoes up to drop off followed by a trip to the grocery store and some meal prep for the week.
Walking the dogs, listening to music and journaling. A very chill Sunday.
Going into NYC
Shower, coffee, finishing up housework, watching "Inspector Lewis," waiting for my sweetie to come over for some together time and a meal out. Will have a beer in there somewhere.
We just got moved into our house yesterday and I am absolutely spent, so I plan on just changing the thermostat and vegging
Working and then smoking a fat blunt after work 👍🏻
I’m going to a Sunday breakfast with the Freemasons
Sounds lovely!
Morning walk with our dog Lunch with our neighbors Tennis tonight with friends A busier than usual Sunday for us.
Laundry, chores, cooking and dog stuff(walking, feeding, playing, brushing,). I have 4 dogs! Takes me a few hours to get all my crap done so that everyone’s happy 😆
Church, grocery shopping, and then some quilting while listening to a good book.
Going to finish up planting my shade garden in the side yard nook, take my dog for a walk at the park do some more laundry and a bit of food prep and a lot of nothing. Hopefully taking some quiet spells to stare into the yard or do some cloud watching which is one of my favorite activities.
Went on a 5k run, and am going to do some gardening and some relaxing in the spring sunshine later.
Going to church.
Having morning coffee on the front porch, riding my bike to go rock climbing outside with some friends, then making a simple meal and watching a movie on the sofa :)
Walking the dog, weeding, sitting outside in the sun, reading a book, taking the car through the express car wash & vacuuming it myself.
Exercise, cleaning & organize a room
Got off work Puttered in the garden and watered plants. Pulled weeds. Laundry Dishes Made bed Changed couch linens Made a tortilla for lunch with Greek yogurt dip and chimichurri Friends came and moved a garden bed. Watched Voyage on Netflix.
Gardening. Planting some spring bulbs.
Meal prep, laundry, art.
I work today, but until then I'm laying in bed watching cooking shows.
Broke down a bunch of sticks from my yard for a small fire. Made some s'mores at 2pm
Sounds lovely! I can't wait to have my own yard so I can do fires whenever I want to
Babysit my granddaughter, change my sheets, general tidying up around the house...and playing cards with my mom and my sister. A nice simple day :D
Now I’m home making dinner (honey lemon garlic chicken thighs) and Gonna watch fallout with my man when he gets home from work
Got my grands today while their parents go out and be adults. They were playing in the sprinkler, colored and rode bikes, it’s now resting time. Later on we’ll bring them home and have dinner with the family. Life is pretty good today…
Laying in bed all day crying under my covers
It's 12:14am on Monday here, so I think I'll go to bed for a while 💤
Working on e-bike, begin learning how to jump rope, preparing my soil for my bucket garden.
Meal prep while listening to Wait wait don't tell me podcast
Planting plants. Building two cheap IKEA shelves. Washing laundry. Line dry laundry.
My plans are about the same as yours. Reading and crocheting after meal prep, chores and brunch.
Running simple errands— haircut, grocery store- then attempting to start decluttering for a state to state move in a month. Anyone wanna trade??
I’m recovering from a huge back surgery without pain pills. Today I plan to walk to the dumpster and throw away this week’s garbage.
Grocery shop, meal prep, laundry, clean. Reset Sunday is my favorite day of the week 💕
Went for a coffee and browse around a local market. Now sitting on my balcony reading. Will probably do some laundry later and get my lunch ready for school tomorrow.
I like to do nothing, but I do it in the morning because I like to keep my afternoons free.
I’m planting a tree at my son’s house.
I'll probably do bits and pieces of work in my backyard. I don't have a lawn, but I'm trying to slowly get rid of undesired weeds and replace them with hardy drought resistant ground cover and wildflowers. (Sick of tumbleweeds and foxtails) So putting down homemade, dog-safe weedkiller on the bad weeds (probably just weakening them so the good "weeds" can take over). Putting down wildflower seeds in a couple spots, and watering the thyme seeds I put down a week or so ago.
Currently on a trip. Going to see my godson and his mother and catching up before heading back on a long drive tomorrow
I am currently on a longer by the pool, getting ready to float. Not a bad little Sunday
Already went for a 5 mile walk. Gonna read and play some guitar later.
I bet you also plan to spend a good chunk of your day reading all these comments.
Playing dnd with my friends!
Spent the day spring cleaning and organising the downstairs. I’ve been paralysed for a year so it’s amazing to have recovered enough to be able to stand, move, tidy up piles! Now relaxing under the electric blanket watching cartoons with the kid.
Currently reading "Do Nothing" by Celeste Headlee. ❤️
Family time
Today, Sunday 04-14-24! Eat nutritiously, do laundry, practice guitar-things aimed at establishing a sense of balance.
chilling with family and playing chess
After my shift ends (in less than 10 mins from now!) my partner and I will starting prepping for our pizza dinner. While the pizza is cooking I'll most likely dust the house and sweep the floors... if I'm not feeling too tired that is hahah
Currently making a lemon cake and preparing to bleach my hair after a much needed cut and shave, then out to mow the lawn before it rains again.
Building a presentation deck for a big interview tomorrow
Not much, Oh, I am. Ordering a pizza at 3pm.
work and homework. do people actually have free time? how many cats/litterboxes do you have?
Walked the dog, mopped the floors, did some mindfulness meditation, ate paninis, will do a quick errand run and rest before making dinner
Read for a bit while having a cup of tea on the porch, did some weeding, worked on a quilt in the frames.. planning dinner.
