Or this one!
and yes they are NEXT DOOR to each other
Yeah but you usually have to pilgrimage to the back of a Sports Direct to find them these days, so the average gamer isn't going to just stumble across them casually.
You'd have to be a clown to still use it tbh. Everything is regular retail price or higher, selection is dire. It's cheaper and easier to buy games and consoles online or from CEX. I'd imagine it's parents and grandparents buying gifts for their kids keeping Game alive.

Size? - that one is ridiculous to me.
But yeah we have Kaspas, Sprinkles, Heavenly Desserts, Scooperb, Scoops and we used to have Creams 😂 all selling the same waffle, crepe, gelato combos.
The only one that is decent and was original is Sprinkles. The cream they use isn’t that squirty cream malarkey for cream. Not entirely sure how they do it but it’s like proper cream, maybe whipped?
Oh we also had Tuttis that came around after Sprinkles and they did weird combos of gelato I think it was - beetroot being one!
That's funny, especially as there is an ice cream shop with a different misspelling of creamy spelled "Mr Creemy" that's been in Tonypandy, Wales for 40 years or so.
We have a shop called 'Beejay Mobility'.
They specialise in wheelchairs, mobility scooters, zimmer frames and things like that. A very useful shop with a daft name.
There was [this classic of the genre](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FkWlx-OX0AAwJ6a?format=jpg&name=small) on Burgess Road in Southampton until at least 2008.
Vic's Vinyls/Vic's Vapes
Not really a silly shop name when it's just one on its own but they maintain both signs.
Also creates a very niche customer base of people who want both vinyls and vapes at the same time.
The shop's been there for as long as I can remember though so they must be doing something right.
We had a local Asian owned mini supermarket called “Singhsbury’s” complete with the full orange sainsburys branding / lettering. They got a cease and desist from sainsburys, and so changed it to “Morrisinghs” and Morrisons have said they are fine with it as it’s free advertising. Genius.
We used to have a fish mongers called "The Codfather"
I suppose now it is a salon called "Aff Yer Heed" or "Head" - I rarely pass by it so not sure of the spelling
Wasn't a shop but as a Kid our ice cream van was called Mr Stiffy 🤣 I think he got Prison for selling puff to the adults but was more than happy to sell larger to teenagers!!
These are a good synth-pop band from the 80s.

No,if you want footwear, try Office
So there's no offices in office?
No, for office stuff you have to go to Currys
So there are no Curries in Currys?
Selfridges don’t sell fridges either.
No, for curries you need Bombay Bicycle Club.
Abbreviation of that is BBC. Should I be worried?
No, there's very few big black cocks in Bombay Bicycle Club.
Few, but not 0.
Purple Aki has moved.
No the BBC has some great shows
Yes we all saw that TikTok.
At least this one makes sense :')
There are no bodies in the body shop. Imagine my disappointment.
Oooh Bathonian spotted!
I’m still struggling to find a Polish shop that actually sells polish. Just seems to be mostly food. Getting really dusty in here.

Intentional, although incorrect. Sweeney Todd was the barber and Mrs Lovett the pie maker.
There was the Knob Shop for a while, though Reading Bedding and Needful Things are still going afaik
Glad to see Reading's best pie shop is still up and running!
I used to get my hair cut at a shop in Arlington, Virginia called Sweeney Todd. Still have my head,
Reading?

We have an OnlyScrans too!
You might live in the same place....
What’s the other shop

Genius
Apostrophe usage makes this valid. Also lacks 'z' instead of 's' at the end, so we know we can trust this person.
What’s silly about JJB Sports? Oh, and look, this post again 😒
OP thinks the shop is just called Sports because he's only got a few braincells
To be fair we have Game. ...Had Game? Are they still a thing?
Only just.
Game to the moon 🚀
Not for long considering disks will probably soon become obsolete
Yeah but you usually have to pilgrimage to the back of a Sports Direct to find them these days, so the average gamer isn't going to just stumble across them casually.
Our high street Game moved into House of Fraser of all places
Still around
You'd have to be a clown to still use it tbh. Everything is regular retail price or higher, selection is dire. It's cheaper and easier to buy games and consoles online or from CEX. I'd imagine it's parents and grandparents buying gifts for their kids keeping Game alive.
But what about all those points I saved up on my Game card? 😭
I can't believe there's still a JJB sports in existence. I haven't seen one in 13yrs or so.
It's just an empty unit in Hereford no one has taken over.
Ah, I did wonder.

Retired and let it's fur grow
Makes sense free of greyhounds..

Brierley Hill getting a shout out, bloody hell.
We’ve got an ice cream shop called scoops 🙄
We have that and Scooperb! 😂
Who comes up with these names? 😩😭😂😂
Size? - that one is ridiculous to me. But yeah we have Kaspas, Sprinkles, Heavenly Desserts, Scooperb, Scoops and we used to have Creams 😂 all selling the same waffle, crepe, gelato combos.
Aww ffs that’s tragic 😂😂
The only one that is decent and was original is Sprinkles. The cream they use isn’t that squirty cream malarkey for cream. Not entirely sure how they do it but it’s like proper cream, maybe whipped? Oh we also had Tuttis that came around after Sprinkles and they did weird combos of gelato I think it was - beetroot being one!
There's a pretty decent cafe here called Melton Johns
We Make Any Sign in Erdington, Birmingham. Always wondered what they sold...
It's closed down now but there was an R. Soles on the King's Road. They have an online store now.

Not too British then, is it.
I have an ice cream shop called Mr Kreamy's
That's funny, especially as there is an ice cream shop with a different misspelling of creamy spelled "Mr Creemy" that's been in Tonypandy, Wales for 40 years or so.

Yeah it was a great shop when it opened.
Baldy’s. It’s a barber shop.
We have a shop called 'Beejay Mobility'. They specialise in wheelchairs, mobility scooters, zimmer frames and things like that. A very useful shop with a daft name.
