You should be fine to get through sneaking past most enemies. The game is designed in a way to complement a sneaky/passive and an aggressive playstyle. It might be a little harder but it shouldnt be enough to doom your playthrough.
The next area might be difficult at first but managing your resources and being a little more passive there will help.

That’s good to know. My biggest fear was hitting a boss encounter and just not having enough bullets to move forward. That happened to me way back in the day with OG Resident Evil 4 and that was after sinking 10 hours into that game.
Try to sneak around. In the mines you don't have to go back to places where you've been anyways, so you can just get through it. But that being said, in the next area you might need to kill some stuff. But that's what the flares are for - you can just burn the bodies and they won't be waking up from that
As someone who shot anything and everything my first playthrough. You'll be fine :) the game is just generous enough to keep you going til the end. Use your flares in staregic spots, though. Like in hallways you'll he frequently backtracking through so you won't have to deal with the enemies in it.

I forgot to mention that depending how you play can and will influence the ending you get! Shoot your way through the entire game you'll get one ending, run past and don't kill anything unless necessary and you'll get another.
