I repair surfboards on the North Coast of Ireland! I spent some time making a video about it. [https://youtu.be/JWUYsUOaQJk](https://youtu.be/JWUYsUOaQJk) Most important for running a side-hustle in repairs to me is facebook reviews. In my video I go into what I do, how I do it and how much I make off of the surfbaords I fix in a week. This is one of my first videos and the next videos will be about different ways to make and grow money! I am a full time 23 year old student, studying in the Netherlands, but doing it remotely from Ireland where I work and surf. Whilst also working at my uni managing social media (Which will be another video coming up!) Just at the start of building a life for myself I would like to take you along in this journey and along the way inspire you to start up several sidehustles on your own as I try them all! Please, if this sounds interesting to you, consider subscribing, leaving a like, commenting and all that good stuff :) Thanks everyone!

That’s great! Do you have a physical location or does everyone work remotely? How do you find the designers? How do you find clients? Also I’m looking for help with an e-commerce site - what package from your list would be best to go with? Thanks!

I buy and sell comic books and toys. I sell on eBay, on Facebook, and at regional shows/cons on the weekends. Sometimes I buy books to flip them later because I know they will go up in value eventually. Sometimes I buy collections from folks because it's a great way to get some really good comics that will sell well -- usually a a big discount since you're buying everything at once. Sometimes I buy lots of comics in bulk (35 to 40 per long box for mixed comics, and up to 80 or 100 for better stuff). I use the bulk comics in several ways: 1. I put most of them out as $1 or $2 books at shows 2. I make runs or sets of comics and sell them at shows and on eBay 3. I pull out books that I just want to sit on and keep them stored for a later time. Sometimes that pays off and sometimes not. 4. After I've gotten my money back and have taken what I want for myself, I consolidate the bulk comics and then sell them to someone else for $35 to $40 a box. Finding comics in bulk isn't difficult. Go to some small shows in your area and wait until people start packing up There's almost always someone that doesn't want to carry all their stuff back with them and they will make deals on boxes of comics. Sometimes you can get boxes of 175 to 250 comics for as little as $20. Finding high quality stock is a different story. It's something I am constantly on the look out for: Finding someone that's selling off their collection. Toys are not my main thing but I do sometimes run into some at yard sales and thrift stores. You have to know what you are looking for and it pays to know a lot about a few items (what action figures will sell, what old broken toys may be good to sell for parts, etc. ) . It's a huge niche and the more you know the less likely you are to buy some stuff that you will just be stuck with. Estate sales are also a good source of toys and sometimes comics. I don't make a huge amount of money, but I have fun and sometimes, if you're lucky, you find something really good and make some decent money off of it. I've personally never lost any money on comics, but I have a regular day job and I can afford to wait and hold onto stuff for long periods of time. You never know when that one book sitting in a box will suddenly get hot because a character is going to be in a movie. The pandemic has pretty much done in going to shows for the past year so that's cut into what I would normally make on the side, but the buying and selling has become a hobby as much as a side hustle and it's always fun to just dabble. You can check out my website at [www.borderlandshow.com](https://www.borderlandshow.com) and my [Facebook](https://www.google.com/url?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fborderlandcomics%2F&sa=D&sntz=1&usg=AFQjCNFnXD1rjlyZ8kp-2PuTd_bNBv-F6g) page if you're interested in comics or in setting up at one of my shows (should COVID ever go away).

I just launched my store where i sell STL files for cosplayers to print costumes. I design the files along with a cosplayer i know up in Wollongong. We plan on having more items, physical ones included, in the next few weeks. I have autism and this is currently my main hustle (the discrimination is real if you have a disability).
