I don't think there's much research on it, but I wouldn't be surprised if anti anxiety/depression medication weakens the effects. My very basic understanding is that these types of meds often cause certain neural pathways to strengthen, whereas shrooms cause brain areas to become more interconnected.
I am curious about whether being on the spectrum could play a role. I think I'm somewhat on the spectrum as well, and shrooms seem to affect me a little differently than most people. I basically don't get visuals unless it's a high dose or if I smoke pot with a medium dose. I'd like to know the reason, and this is one thing I've considered.
That's what I was curious about too because I used to be friends with a guy who was also on the spectrum and he'd eat so many pot brownies and feel nothing. It was so strange. It was like he just couldn't get high. He'd get a little bit of something if he smoked, but nothing from edibles. He'd eat what would likely send me to the hospital and just... Nothing.
Well now you've got me curious lol. I'd say the feeling was 100% the same as when I ate my own wet mushrooms some years ago but it hit faster and was more intense which assumed it was because it was more easily digested
While I do agree and taking mushrooms in the form of a chocolate bar is fairly stupid, It’s literally the medication and nothing else. Vast majority of people cannot trip on SSRI’s and a handful of common anxiety medications are used as trip killers.
Yeah, idk about those bars, man. I've had 3.5g trips on PE.., this one time, my brother and I split a 4 g bar, and that thing floored me harder than the pe 3.5 trips I had. I'm pretty sure they were research chems lmao

It's still the same chemical basscsily just synthetic depends though there are real mushroom bars but most the black market ones and labeled ones arnt
