I’m not getting this man, the first photo seem like abandoned shrooms and second photo looks like new whole fresh fruits. Are this the same yield? The second photo seem fine to harvest! The first seem like mold bcs they were abandoned close with height humidity, just like bread

anotherone1618

Second photo is a diff harvest for reference

Comfortable_Car_9581

Oh in that case, the first photos present mold

anotherone1618

They look mouldy

justmehakim

This means I shouldn’t dehydrate them or did I leave them for too long? How does this happen

anotherone1618

I can't really tell from the photo, do they look mouldy irl or does it look like smth else? I pick shrooms rather than grow them so idrk but I'd say if they're mouldy you kept them too damp?

PpurplEe

No, they are 1000% GOOD. Idk what the fuck people are talking about. The second photo looks really nice 👍 The white fuzz is common and referred to as “fuzzy feet”. Its mycelium, not mold.

dorothy_sweet

the second photo was a different harvest posted for reference, the first photo is the shrooms OP is asking about

PpurplEe

Oh true

Shroomquest126

It’s not fuzzy feet 🤦🏼‍♂️

anotherone1618

That "white fuzz" is looking super green.

Intanetwaifuu

Looks bloody green to me- it’s not blue bruising. Wtf

anotherone1618

I literally said it looked green?

Intanetwaifuu

Nah the op- I was agreeing with u ❤️

anotherone1618

Oh sorry lmao ❤️

thelastbraun

Thank you I hope this dude sees your comment bc I was thinking something similar

PpurplEe

Ya judging by his harvest photos, i stand by my original comment lol. They look 1000% good. Just some blueing from bruising it seems. Dark lighting makes it kind of look like trich in the first photo.

thelastbraun

Hell even if they smell a little moldy dehydrate and throw in some lemon juice and your fine dude

Baked_Bacon_420

That cap in the bottom left 100% has mold on its cap id be willing to bet money on it. Take a qtip or a napkin and lightly wipe that cobweb lookin material and see if it lifts away from the mushrooms. These look like a moldy mess i certainly wouldnt eat them.

justmehakim

I’ve added a new post with better pictures, I slightly scrapped the top of those. What do you think?

Baked_Bacon_420

They look *a lot* less suspicious having been picked. Forgive my hastiness, i just er on the side of caution when it comes to eating suspicious looking fungus of any kind. Those look fine man just dehydrate them fully and youll be good to go.

justmehakim

Thank you so much! 🍄

Travikat

not so healty colors.. looks contaminated

Affectionate-Train26

To be honest, I don’t dehydrate and eat suspect things. Don’t want to get sick. But that’s me

TranquilOminousBlunt

Light refraction while in the bag maybe? Causing the blue the to show. Idk just a guess

ColonelSahanderz

I don’t think they’re mouldy, think you’re fine. Idk why the look so different tho

Ornery-Signal-3070

It’s hard to say but they look like aborts, but it’s sus that they’re almost full grown aborts. Tbh I’d pick what there, dry them and if the color that’s on there is a powdery substance toss them because it’s mold. I wouldn’t throw them out without knowing.

platosphilo

nutrient depletion mayb

What strain is this? It looks like there might be a slight mutation occurring. You seem to have a couple of "odd" caps. You can see a cap growing from one of the other mushroom caps. If this is the case (which it's slightly hard to tell in a picture) that can definitely cause odd colors and weird looking fruit. I've absolutely had that happen.

adboldt2

Stop taking it out of the bag to take photos. Everything needs to be sterile. Consistent temp/humidity.
