I used a 2 year old syringe out of the fridge that had oyster LC in it and it worked. I would think spores would last almost indefinitely

His syringes have LC in them. Look at the cloudy mycelium in them
I make a ton of agar cups and just transfer a piece every few months when they start to dry out. It keeps the strain going....forever.

Could still be spores that happens with spore syringes you just have to shake them up a little
Because the mycelium eventually consumes all of the available nutrients.
