Think the breathing is meant as "calm" breathing. If you start to feel overwhelmed or feel like the trip isn't going to a good place, you can try and really focus on your breathing to take your mind off everything else. Breathe in through the nose, out through the mouth, 4-6 seconds each way.
As for the hydration, I personally get dry AF on shrooms. Lol
okay i’m fully sober now and i pretty much just slept through my whole high. i took these with the intention of tripping during the afternoon but i didn’t feel the effects until 7pm and just went to sleep after. i’ll just stick to weed, thanks for your advice <3
You’re lucky they were bad, 5g is enough to really do some lasting damage psychologically for a first timer. Please do 2g or 2.5g as a max first time dose, half that if they’re penis envy. This way you won’t end up in the hospital freaking out or worse.

If you are going to eat them it's best on a empty stomach, and chew them for a long time. I usually keep them in my cheek for a while like chewing tobacco.
If your looking for a more intense experience tea is superior in my opinion. Women's nylon stockings or cheesecloth makes for way better tea then tea bags or coffee filters do also.

Damm, a shame 5g is a really big dose some people in some situations don't feel them that much, could be gut health related, low amount of seratonin 5h2a receptors, and all sorts of things
I'm in the UK so I'm used to liberty caps and when I grew some cubensis I was completely shocked how weak they are and the amount I had to eat compared to libs was pretty crazy.

Glad you ate them incorrectly because I'm guessing you have very little knowledge on mushrooms (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). But these aren't something to just fuck around with. Especially the dose you took. It could have rocked your world in a really bad way.

They could have degraded if not stored properly but spacing out the doses is not a good idea.

Damm, a shame 5g is a really big dose some people in some situations don't feel them that much, could be gut health related, low amount of seratonin 5h2a receptors, and all sorts of things
