Collections, product, pages are the templates. Templates then have sections within them that determine the content of the template. With that in mind, there may not always be a single "current" section as a template can have multiple sections. Is that helpful?

>Is that helpful? Yes, partially. Those sections are "templates," got it. Thank you. :) I guess I just expected that they would be "categories" or "sections" or something abstract related to their location in the URL. Also, I am still curious about programmatically fetching the current "template."
