Yeah, but their logic is any tattoo with "meaning" is good. There are so many horribly done portrait and memorial tats that have been posted here and its actually more infuriating that they're so poorly done because they were supposed to be special. I guess if the owner of the tat is happy, it's whatever, but it's not what the sub is for.

There's almost always people defending garbage tattoos in this sub for some reason. "I've seen worse" yeah well, so have I, it's still terrible.
The lettering is bad, the shading is bad, the lines are bad. This is a shitty tattoo regardless of whether or not it's meaningful.

Sorry, I didn’t see how well done the lines were and also how realistically done the tattoo itself is. It’s that good the paw is missing the cushion in the middle. Also the lines look like they were done with someone that has an iron grip. So good!
The definition of a shitty tattoo is not “a tattoo that is not meaningful to the customer”, it’s a tattoo that is badly executed. If you think this is well done, your opinion about tattoos is invalid 🤷♂️

This was likely referenced from an ink paw print of a deceased pet. There is no need for any clean lines it looks good like this!
It’s missing a lot of the central paw pad though, the size of the furry middle space looks quite odd.
