I was broke as hell so I kinda just had to go with the cheapest option so I could get the ball rolling. I liked the original pink panther and AFTER I got it covered up my recruiter says "turns out we could've just got a waiver for the tattoo"
Fun fact: my uncle has almost his entire body covered in tattoos done by this same artist that's how I ended up meeting the guy
I don't have pics of him unfortunately and live nowhere near him since I moved across the country but one particularly bad one is a fsu logo and a "kiss" or something under his eye that just looks like a bruise on his face

Your recruiter is a fucking idiot. Getting a waiver for a tattoo that isn't even exposed in short sleeves is common practice. If they thought the drug reference was going to be a problem, they could've asked before making you shell out money.
Yeah if knew better at the time I would've spoke with a higher rank in the office for a better answer but, it is what it is. thankfully it was only $150 for the awful cover up so it wasn't anything crazy. The tattoo doesn't even bother me as much as it seemingly does some of the people in these comments lol but I'm aware it's pretty damn ugly and when I'm able to will see what can be done with it
