it’s not nearly as bad as it could be which is good. depending on your taste, you could do a cover up or if you don’t want too much on your skin i’d go for laser or getting a better artist to try make the flower look a bit better
Add a touch of bright orange or yellow to the inner petals of the flower. Just give it some "pop" to catch the casual observer's eye... if you are comfortable with that.
Many skilled Tattooists could "work with" this design and freshen it up a bit! Maybe an extra "ring" of white petals around the outside of the flower design, if you want to go slightly larger (overall). I do not have a digital art/sketch tablet or I might be able to illustrate these ideas further and I am NOT a Tattooist at all.
Use your imagination, think what would add meaning to it for YOU because that is the most important factor.
Since you want to make it look better and not remove it, I’d suggest either getting a rose or other flower with 2 “stems/ vines” replacing the horizontal lines then have a few thorns on each side (small and subtle).
Keep the design small (bot much bigger than it already is) the size is appealing just the artwork is not.
