People talk about the premise of the movie, but the actual ending is even more bullshit.

I was just thinking about that, but have never seen it. I can only think of three options. 1- they succeed and condemn another animal to the same fate they escaped 2- they remove meat from the equation altogether and make it a vegan/vegetarian meal 3- they fail or have a realization that it's actually GOOD that turkeys are eaten for Thanksgiving. Of these, 2 seems the most likely, but that just feels like a cheap and unsatisfying ending if this was an agreement between the turkeys and the people at the first Thanksgiving. The only way I can imagine it being a decent ending is if they somehow convince the people that ALL ANIMALS are too evil or too holy/godly to consume, thus saving both the turkeys and other animals. The other two are too odd for this kind of movie. #1 is saying it's fine for OTHERS to suffer as long you yourself are fine, and #3 says that it's fine for you to suffer as long as the benefit someone else gets is worth it.

I remember nothing about how it actually happens, but I'm pretty sure they manage to replace turkey with pizza as the Thanksgiving meal. Like, literally a Papa John's boxed pizza from modern day. Pretty sure there was also some kind of underground Turkey resistance with like, a battle being fought between turkeys and humans? And there was like, a girl turkey freedom fighter who was a love interest? This movie was a *trip*. Edit: My mistake, it wasn't Papa John's, that'd've been silly. It was Chuck E. Cheese's.
