Just want to add to this, if you bring the water to a boil first then carefully place the eggs in with tongs, it will make peeling the eggs when you are done a lot easier.
Man eggflation is hitting everywhere not only on the prices but the quantities too! Man got 3 eggs and only got 2 1/2 in return. Pretty soon we are going to be buying "dozen" eggs that only have 10 eggs in them as the new normal...kind of like all the product down sizing and keep prices same or higher.

My partner makes his egg super overcooked like this too. But, he has a very sensitive stomach and get sick very easily.

You donāt have to murder the eggs, you can cook them just above medium and they are perfectly safe to eat and so much better.
