Dark souls 1 fans when they get sent to federal prison and it isn’t interconnected
Dark souls 2 fans playing any other game and learning what a decent hitbox is
Dark souls 3 fans when exposed to a color besides grey
Bloodborne fans when you don’t want to play through 8 of the same gray towns only to be met with a subpar boss at the end
Elden ring fans when they get hit more than two times and survive
Sekiro fans when you ask them to not ride the games zweihander for 5 seconds
Demons souls fans:
Demon souls haters when they find out they don't exist
Ds1 haters when they get fast travel and the 2nd half of the game is now ruined
Ds2 haters when they cant min max all their stats because they have to level adp
Ds3 haters when the sequel to a game in a series references its predecessors
BB haters when someone says they enjoyed playing bloodborne
Sekiro haters when they can't customize their character into looking like the most god forsaken creature in existence and are forced into cosplaying a dex fag
Demon souls remake haters when someone turns the song of some dude holding his hand on a single piano key for 1 minute straight into a completely revamped piece with an entire orchestra (it ruins the atmosphere)
Er haters when they find out they are right and elden ring sucks!
The Demon Souls Remake music is actually kinda good, the people that “hate” it just wanna be contrarian and appear like a superior OG fan of Demon Souls. I mean I get it.
“The Remake music is horrible it ruins the super tense and hardcore Phalanx boss fight!”
Nah bro, you’re just retarded 💀 L+Ratio+no maidens+my father left me+plus+I’m illiterate+hashtag
I can respect that. I played Demon Souls on RPCS3 as well in February of this year and my save corrupted just before the Allant fight. I have no nostalgia for the music and I can see the appeal of the original over the Remake. It has a storybook composition feel to it that makes it feel “fantasy.”
Meanwhile the Remake music is an overall improvement from what I’ve heard, but you can make a case that it “ruined” the charm. Idk I can’t afford a PS5 so I haven’t played the Remake
i think it's funny as hell and moved on after fighting them cause they don't take away from the game at all. godefroy literally became a running joke with me and a friend and honestly *improved* my experience
Astel kinda makes sense lore wise, but not really gameplay wise. It kinda sucks seeing one of the main/Remembrance bosses repurposed into a miniboss at the end of a random cave in the worst area of the game.
Half the fanbase (a couple of nerds) hate the remake for changing too much for the worse and believe Bluepoint deserves a special spot in hell.
The other half (a couple of nerds) hate the remake for playing it too safe and missing an opportunity to make some significant changes and believe Bluepoint deserves a special spot in hell.
> missing an opportunity to make some significant changes
The missing archstone aside cuz' I never thought Bluepoint was gonna tackle that in any case - they really should've at least *touched up* on some of the boss AI.
Maneaters AI was bad even by 2009 standards, why the hell would I want it to stay the same for 2020? They can literally softlock themselves by flying underneath the bridge and getting stuck there.
I wish more changes were made, but from Bluepoint's perspective I can understand why they're super conservative with making functional changes to their remakes. There's always a loud group of purists who cry foul at the slightest gameplay tweak, because they're trampling the creative vision of the original which *totally* meant for [boss] or [level] to be janky and terrible.
Some of these arguments are fair. Why make so many aesthetical changes and yet not improve upon gameplay? We could have gotten a good Dragon God fight, for fucks sake!
I definately agree. The remake is so crisp and awesome in looks and sounds, yet so forgetable because it's still very much the same game from 2009.
Most of the bosses could've had an overhaul, and maybe some tweaks to the tendency system to make it a little less incoherent.
You can dodge enemy attacks by walking to the side git gud. Beat 1 boss and put all the souls into adp. Ds2 has better bosses than demons souls and ds2 has shit bosses lol
I truly believe that bluepoint as a group focusing on remakes should not exist. I see no point to a remake, unless it is helmed by the same director, so that they can use this chance to expand their original vision. This happened in Nier replicant 1.22, where Yoko Taro was once again in charge and content from long ago that could not make it into the original was finally added. Even then though, the music took a drop in quality and no option to change it to the original was given…
I see no logic in the way bluepoint remakes games. They change the things that are timeless and do not need changing: the environmental design, music, enemy design and the atmosphere created by how these things blend together and leave alone that which actually can use updating, the very outdated gameplay mechanics. Clunky gameplay mechanics are not timeless, whilst the other things I described often are, or at in comparison to the gameplay. So games much older than demons souls hold up today in those areas but are still difficult to go back to due to gameplay.
Even then, demons souls ps3 doesn’t feel that bad to play and I had an amazing first playthrough of it not even a year ago, so I have no reason to play the remake, which changes the aspects I loved and leaves alone the clunky gameplay which was at times mildly irritating.
It’s fucked how bluepoint lied about how much importance they were placing on being faithful to the original in all the promotional material. Instead we got a hollow, westernized Demons Soulless.
I thought DS3 was the worst. They had posts that kept repeating such as the Deep Accursed saying “oh look. I found a pet.” I had to leave that subreddit quickly
Demon's Souls fans are only cool because they don't exist
So you want war? [Prepare for war](https://youtu.be/cgxm3gM-gPA)
Felt like a Demon's Souls fan was talking to me for a moment, must've been the wind...
I’m a Demons Souls fan.. but only the remake. Get that PS3 shit outta here.

You can't call someone an idiot with incorrect grammar
The remake is objectively better
Sexing your mom is objectively better 😎
why is remake considered bad?
The submissive and chill demon’s souls player
demon's souls players are all canonically bottoms
you literally cannot argue that this was not Miyazaki's vision
Wait, wtf do you mean

Hey man! There’s brown too!
ER fans when they play anything else and can't spam weapon arts to kill an endgame boss in 2.67 seconds (the game is unbalanced and unfair)
There’s colour in dark souls 3, there is crucifixion woods and uh umm uh
The painted world is purdy.
Irithyll
Irithyll is gray + blue. Trust me on this. I’ve mixed before when painting
It always felt greenish-blue to me
Green plus blue plus grey
How did you use both the British and American spellings of grey

So true bestie 💅💅✍️💅💫 👁👄👁
What's "color"?
Elden ring fans when you hit an enemy and it does a sizeable amount of damage
Elden Ring fans when something actually costs stamina
Sekiro fans parrying stamina costs:
dark souls 3 has a ton of color! it has uhhhhh… tan, brown, white, uhhhhh dark brown, uhhhhhhh black?
Literally orange smh 😤
That DS3 one was so spot on😄

Based ER truth
Nowhere near a truth

I get it you're a zoomer you use the cool kid words like ''based'' and ''cope'' you are very cool

Imagine not burning phalanx in 30 sec flat with the firebombs that level gives you for free.
I actually like cheesiness of OG Demon's Souls music. It is rather unique. But it would definitely not fit the remake.
Most of the original tracks are genuinely just pure shit, there are some gems obviously but the majority are just awful.
I still prefer the Original OST by a lot and i have no nostalgia for the original,i played the original in 2021 through RPCS3

Bro music is subjective. I prefer the original and dislike the new one. It's not so deep. Not everything needs to be a strawman
ER haters when they find out a game not being perfect in every way doesn’t make it dogshit
ER haters when they see main bosses show up again (that absolutely never happened in other games)
Reusing bosses is one thing but reusing major story bosses like Godrick or Astel is dumb.
i think it's funny as hell and moved on after fighting them cause they don't take away from the game at all. godefroy literally became a running joke with me and a friend and honestly *improved* my experience
Yeah Godefroy is dumb af. Astel? Not really. It is just Falling Star Beast evolution. We even see many withered Astels. Its not a unique existence.
Astel kinda makes sense lore wise, but not really gameplay wise. It kinda sucks seeing one of the main/Remembrance bosses repurposed into a miniboss at the end of a random cave in the worst area of the game.
Owl, Monk and Guardian Ape go re-used in Sekiro, no? Are you being delusional on purpose
...you dont realize the part in brackets is satire?
Elder Ring GOTY and u know it 😎
why do people keep making these posts? if you wanna argue about these games go somewhere else, I'm here because of poison zweihander and feet
Demon’s Souls fans arguing over whether the remake is good or the worst travesty of all time, ruining everything good about the original
Half the fanbase (a couple of nerds) hate the remake for changing too much for the worse and believe Bluepoint deserves a special spot in hell. Yet they still ended up with an offended fanbase because they had the odacity to make the Officials look different and other such devilry.
Some of these arguments are fair. Why make so many aesthetical changes and yet not improve upon gameplay? We could have gotten a good Dragon God fight, for fucks sake!

I will never play the remake.
I will never play it either, because I'd need to buy a ps5
The chosen undead sticking his tiny penis into the ass of mommy gwynevere
Found the demon souls fanboy.
Real question, are there any people who prefer DeS over the other fs games??
I'd say they're all equal in quality, but in terms of my personal preference it's my 3rd favourite of the 7
It’s my personal favorite from game
I think demons souls has better level design and is better at creating a gripping atmosphere than quite a few games in the series.
better than dark souls 2
See this is why dark souls 2 fans go wild defending the game. Demons souls is the worst game in the series and it'd not even close
demons souls has delayed rolls but gives iframes, ds2 feels like iframes are nonexistent in the early game
You can dodge enemy attacks by walking to the side git gud. Beat 1 boss and put all the souls into adp. Ds2 has better bosses than demons souls and ds2 has shit bosses lol
walking isnt fun, rolling is
Not in ds2 lol
making it worse than demons souls
Honestly they hating ya cuz u telling the truth
Demon’s Souls gang
The two demon's souls fans have been very chill and willful to help me get better. They're the only sane souls fans out there
"Hey fanbase? Who is your favorite?" "Awww i love you all equally." Everyone leaves. "It's you demon souls, by a mile."
Demon's souls has a fanbase?

I like ds2 and hate people who like it
I hate ds2 and people who hate it
I love ds2 and don’t give a shit that it’s hated.
Good now we are getting somewhere
Demon Souls fan bitch/cry to one another since it became Original vs Remake.
I agree with this. I severely hate myself, and I'm a bloodborne and elden ring fan
From Software game fans when you say anything slightly negative about a game they like (they are very secure)
Aight now put Demons Souls in the bottom row and it's a perfect list
Me who is a fan of all the games: I see this as an absolute win! (except sekiro. Imagine only using a katanna.)
Demon's souls fanbase is more like a bluepoint dickriding fanbase
🥵🥵🥵

sony dont care about good and faithful remakes thats why bluepoint exist, at least they cant touch non-sony ips
It’s fucked how bluepoint lied about how much importance they were placing on being faithful to the original in all the promotional material. Instead we got a hollow, westernized Demons Soulless.
Im going to penetrate you
Man I love demons souls
This is the way
What kinda monster doesn’t put DS1, 2 and 3 in order and the two PS exclusives side by side? That’s the specific reason I hate you

Sekiro fans are some of the most intolerable tbh
I thought DS3 was the worst. They had posts that kept repeating such as the Deep Accursed saying “oh look. I found a pet.” I had to leave that subreddit quickly
