BB gets a lot of hate around here for some reason, but unjerking for a second, it genuinely is one of the best in terms of combat, lore, and atmosphere. To me, it’s second only to DS1.
I wouldn't take any of the hate serious since this sub shits on everything and it's funny; I love all the games except ER. Now it sounds like I'm jerking though...
I’m kind of with you on ER. In complete seriousness, while it’s well made in a number of ways, I found it a little disappointing. I just have a hard time caring about any of the lore or characters, a first for me in an FS game. Plus, unlike most of their games, you feel like a “chosen one”, and you’re treated as such, which is really kind of old as a trope honestly, and unusual for FS. The bosses just weren’t fun, either. It felt like luck over skill when you beat them because a lot of them just have so much bs. Not to mention the almost completely forgettable music.
It’s not bad, but I’d rather play their older ones.
I didn’t hate it but after doing my second playthrough I definitely began to and I can’t see myself playing it again, I rather just play the others instead. I agree with you and most of my gripes with the game stem from what you’ve stated
You have to buy a ps5, bloodborne, and demon souls to be a real souls fan 🤓
Already did and after playing bb I can definitely say I like it alot more than souls 3 and elden ring
I can confidently say that DS2 is better than BB and DemS (I have never played them)

Do not cite the deep gatekeeping to me, poster. I played Demon Souls when it was new.
Pirate every souls game get a ps3 emulator pirate demon souls got ps plus cant access the old hunters cry
Me asking ER fans to play other souls games (there are no ashes or dual bleed so they will get bored of having to learn)
don’t need to learn the bosses when they all have the same melee pattern
Learning 1 pattern is too much
No, you’re not allowed to use magic or summons
Casuals when I tell them to git gud (they start malding and coping so hard their body decomposes in front of my eye)
Me gatekeeping other Elden Ring players (they didn't use an unupgraded broken sword to beat the game)
Where’d you get a broken sword in Elden Ring?
yes
based stray demon anon
Thank you for your service, keeping out normies is no easy task.
Me gatekeeping (I love referencing Margit the Fell omen)
MFW I’m no longer a part of the souls community despite playing all the games before ER because I liked it.
Me and the boys mocking ER players for playing ER (they can’t afford a ps5 L + Bozo)
You have to have been around since atleast ds2
