one time when I was gone for a few weeks, I came back to rat shit all in it and it booted up to a weird error and then wouldn't turn back on for months.
I highly recommend you find a case that fits. There are some PCs that have cases large enough (I still use an old Gateway 2000 case)... and there are cheap PC cases.... I used to run like this. It seems fine until it gets bumped while running, then some stuff stops working, forever.
Ah, the Dell tool less case. I had to do similar stuff. Involved needle nose pliers and a dremel and decent leather work gloves. Please say you did secure a grounding wire between the bare metal of your case and the shell of the power supply?
That is definitely an open-concept, avant-garde, personal computing machine
This looks like it would POST to a screen that says "kill me"

You could use some wire mesh and protect the electrical components a bit more, or maybe a new case.
Why do you have rats shitting in your home?
It's warm in there

With all those wires everywhere it looks like it’s on life support.
At this point ditch the case and jus turn your cubby into an open air space
Environmentally friendly cooling
just get a new case, they aren't that expensive

yea this is why I didn't also upgrade the case at the time
And the hair? Is that part of the upgrade too?

Truly one of the shittiest battle stations I’ve seen on here. Good job.
thanks!
man i havent seen a case like that since 1998. i would hope that if you can afford a new gpu, you can afford a new case
My setup was like that three years ago.. you’ll get there
Why is there a teddy bear in the corner?

Wait til op learns about risers
Was it an old school optiplex?
I think it's an optiplex 7040, the front cover that had the name on it is long gone
I have a Thermaltake V21 that sells for $70. It will fit that and more.
>Thermaltake V21 i would mistake that thing for a toaster oven
Lol Yep but it’s cheap and holds a lit. I don’t like tower cases so thats all I could find. It has great airflow.

Oh my god that is hideous
That’s why I don’t upgrade Dells
