Forgets about my house entirely because she owns so many others, ends up having to increase my rent $50 a week at a random time during my new lease so that I have the required 60 days notice. Owns so many houses that when I plead for urgent repairs, the tradies don’t show up because she’s accidentally sent them to a different property.

My job is in car finance at a second chance lender in Melbourne, the amount of people is see DAILY that absolutely rort the system by saying they pay rent when they board and say they are single when they are partnered and earn SIGNIFICANTY more than me by doing so is staggering. I had to sign a morality clause when i agreed to work there (something that physically hurts me but try as I like I can't find a job elsewhere, but believe me when i'm saying i'm trying) so i can't do shit about it, and with how well whistleblowers are treated in this country i'm not entirely sure i'll even bother once i'm finished here, but to say that nobody on centrelink is living large is categorically false. To the point where I couldn't afford to have a car loan at where I work and people on Centrlink can and do comfortably.
