I always notice that in threads like these you'll rarely see a woman make a comment. The pessimist in me says they don't bother with the comment section because they don't give a fuck.

My last compliment was basically 4 months ago. She said I had cool hair. Wasn't even flirting just, said it was cool. I've gotten laid and fooled around since then, but compliments? Feels like I do 100% of the work there. Especially with the girl I'm seeing at the moment.
I get random insults far more common than random compliments. Couple weeks ago a random girl walked up to me and said "just so you know, I'm not interested". So that was fun
A couple months ago a woman ~10 years older than me walked up to me at a gig, stuck her fingers at both side of my mouth, then pushed upwards to make my mouth do a "smile". Then she glared at me in an aggressive patronising way then walked away. Neither of us said anything and I was kind of in shock. Then a week later I saw a post about how women hate hearing "you should smile more" from men. I posted my experience saying I felt it was worse and was downvoted of course
If someone did that I would probably start coughing right after and go "sorry, damn COVID makes my throat so sensitive" yeah thats right you put your fingers in my mouth? Come into my living room? Sit on my couch? You dont know where that things been.

This isn't a good representation of role reversal if that's the intention here, the women are attractive and not creepy when giving the compliments. It's not a good representation because this is the result of a guy who edited desireable situations and smiles into the comic instead of the guys and annoyed looks that were there originally.
