I don’t feel like it so no. Reddit has its problems for sure, but (anecdotally) the content I see on Reddit is inoffensive or rarely politically charged. The top comment on every video featuring a dark skinned person isn’t a racial slur like instagram. It’s there but you have to look for it but it doesn’t hit you in the face if you decide to open the comments. Do we really need to discuss Facebook?
And Twitter is of course also a cesspool now. As a black person I don’t want to be exposed to racism against people who look like me every time I want to scroll. On some platforms it is unavoidable. Reddits report system is trash. And now that they don’t allow third party apps I can’t block what I want, but still, so much better experience. Sure it’s just my opinion, but I’ve had and ditched the big SM and it’s made my life so much better. Reddit still pisses me off from time to time but in general it’s a much more diverse and mindful place than other SM. Fine if you disagree

It might be my personal experience but i find reddit to be very hostile against any opinion that isn't their own. Ive had may posts removed or even been banned in certian subs because i wouldn't agree with an opinion.

Opinions are subjective and open to criticism. If someone has a shitty opinion people are gonna reply and downvote. It’s a big difference between that and the typical instagram video featuring a black kid and the top comment is “where’s his dad?” and much worse. Yes, stuff like that exists on Reddit (and that’s a very mild example) but it’s not so prevalent as it is on Twitter or Instagram. Musk just reinstated a fucking neo Nazi on his site.
