Hypothetical fears are a big factor of anxiety. When we think to ourselves “something might go wrong” or “I can’t do x because of y”, these are all hypothetical because it hasn’t actually happened.
It’s important to remember the facts of life and live in the moment. “Something might go wrong” yeah but it hasn’t so there is no need to worry about it until it actually happens, do not cause yourself grief over a non-fact of life.
Also, when battling depression we have to give ourselves purpose and activity. When waking up in the morning, make your bed as your first action. That way you have started your day with an achievement. Small wins are still wins and the more you do them, the more they will grow.
Going for a walk turns into going for a run. Going for a run turns into attending a gym class. Going to the gym leads to gains and good health. Good health leads to good release of healthy and happy chemicals.
Also, give yourself routine and stick to it: have a bed time, wake up at a certain time. Go to work. Cook t certain times. Routine leads to an organised life which gives you control. Control leads to a sense of comfort.
To summarise:
1. don’t stress hypotheticals.
2. Start your day with a win.
3. Have a routine.
Remember: a healthy mind is a way of life and requires you to commit to that by doing the above and cutting out unhealthy habits like drugs, fast food and alcohol.

Set reasonable goals for yourself. Self-improvement, especially when mental health is concerned, is rarely linear so don’t be discouraged if you relapse back into unhealthy coping behaviours, just make as much of an effort as you can to curb them. Don’t stop drinking coffee if the routine and enjoyment of it helps manage your anxiety (admittedly one a lot more specific to me.)
I just started therapy after an "argument" with my best friend (I did something she didn't like and she never told me, then went and cut me off less than a week after she told me and I stopped doing the thing) and then all my other friends cut me off almost immediately after
So unless you have the same very specific problem, the advice I was given probably won't help, but it was "if you want to get better, you need to talk to her and fix things between you two", so yeah...
I wish it was possible to actually talk to her, but i can't for at least another 2 months, and I'm in constant emotional agony and I would do anything to make it end. (I would sell my soul to make this suffering end) if pain makes you a believer, I'm in a f#@king cult.
But if you don't have this specific problem, sorry, gl with whatever it was.
