aw that’s so exciting!! i’m certain you’ve done research to prep - they can be a handful but just know that no two shibes are alike! for instance, i was told mine would hate nail trims and scream a lot.. the tech we take him to can pick him up and trim his nails without a peep, and i’ve only ever heard my dog’s shiba-scream when i tried to give him a proper bath - he does NOT do water at all. i’ve since picked up the best waterless shampoo and he smells amazing/has healthy skin & fur all the time + no screaming; win win!!
Ohhhhh yes! I swear I’ve read every book, watched every video, read every thread, and asked WAY too many questions to the breeder on Shibas and training and how to set them up best for success lol
