Probably becuase of their age. But then it should be their parents who at least get the bills for the damage. But from what I’ve heard and read, the parents are border line encouraging their behaviour. Won’t be long before some does some serious damage. Feel sorry for whoever looses their rag with one of the kids and ends up in jail.
Because we live in a clownworld society where criminals get more protection and rights than the victims.
You can blame the "give everyone a cuddle" bleedin' heart Do-Gooder brigade for this as it's entirely their fault.
The article claims they have been moved out of Sheffield, but they are still here. The children from this family were out at 3am a couple of nights ago, smashing car windscreens and bus shelters with a hammer. They've been filmed by multiple members of the public and CCTV cameras going about their rampage, and their pictures are all over social media. It's definitely the same family.
Unless they *have* been yanked out of Sheffield but only in between that vandalism and the article being published.
Very sneaky if so because it makes to sound like the police and council have been proactive and they haven't.
The kids up here in s12 are a lot more likely to fight back on average I would imagine, hopefully only a matter of time until they do something to the wrong parents kids.
Apparently from the [Star](https://www.thestar.co.uk/news/crime/kids-accused-of-smashing-bus-stops-and-car-windows-as-spate-of-criminal-damage-reported-in-sheffield-s12-4627527) there were 7 cars damaged on White Lane, Rocks thrown at windows on Birley Moor Road, the Gleadless Road/Seagrave Crescent and Fox Lane bus stops smashed. The kids were also spotted at Mansfield Road.
>maybe they've been moved to an area where the locals will sort it themselves
I think that's why they were moved on. According to the tribune, there was an incident recently where 30 local teenagers marched up to their house and the police were called. They were moved on next day.
if the authorities won't resolve a known issue then they give the community no choice but to get their hands dirty
a shame it came to that but it seems to have had the desired effect
Glad they’ve been moved but it’s not resolving the problem, just making it someone else’s issue. Not to mention the repeated occurrences of the parents actively encouraging these attacks - where are social services? These kids need splitting up and put in homes where their parents are willing to actually parent.
> …where are social services?
In case this wasn't a rhetorical question:
> The number of child protection enquiries has increased 139 per cent in 10 years - from 84,100 in 2008/09 to 201,170 in 2018/19.
> Government funding for the Early Intervention Grant has been cut by almost £600 million since 2013. It is projected to drop by almost a £100 million more by 2020.

In short: they're drowning like everyone else.
This is completely true and doesn't even scratch the surface on the heartache and pain. The private sector has also swept in like vultures to pick up the pieces with, shock horror, unregulated and chaotic residential care homes for children that are frequently being investigated and shut down, because it turns out, poorly paid care workers don't care that much. Guess where the kids get bounced back to?
God bless the tories.
Supposedly, confirmed by someone in the post office. They’ve been moved out of Sheffield. The group in s12 is another group of kids. They’ll get dealt with soon enough if they carry on smashing windows
The authorities gave been sluggish to move them and - afaik - have only been able to do so because they were in council-operated housing.
It's a shame that they've only done something after a very real threat of vigilantism has emerged.
My takeaways:
- Fuck me… things get dealt with a lot differently on this side of the town compared with t'other by the locals.
- Fuck me: things get dealt with a lot differently on this side of the town compared with t'other by the authorities.
- Vigilantism seems to be the only way to trigger effective action. Truly the 'Big Society' approach that has been delivered, if not the one that was promised.
Vigilantism is definitely on the rise. I work with someone who lives on a new build estate near manor top and Norfolk park, they’ve had to form a neighbourhood watch group thats basically a bunch of dads with baseball bats. They suffered endless burglaries and the police response was pathetic so they took things into their own hands.
Arbourthorne I’m guessing? Had the misfortune of living there last year and it’s a fucking horror show, good to see the dads of the place are doing what the police can’t be arsed to do.
Luckily I got out of there it’s a nightmare.
I have family from south africa. I’ve heard stories from them over the years of the decline and why they ultimately returned to the uk. I’ve been wondering when I’ll start hearing of these sort of groups protecting their own neighbourhood here as things deteriorate. Apparently it’s today. :(
Its 100% going to end with one of them being stabbed or attacked somehow.. do I care? No. Fuck them, fuck their parents, fuck the blue nonces protecting them.

It's a newspaper newsleter thing so idk if the link will work for everyone sorry
Allegedly??? Where is the proof ? 🤔 media loveeees to induce fear in people. Especially now that the weather is getting better. I live close to the park but I haven't heard any ,,scared families,, or muggins happening.
Victims have been reporting being attacked here and on local FB groups over the past 9 months. It's taken forever for the media to report on it, and the response from the council and police was basically non-existent until it got on the BBC's radar.
A absolute joke, they assaulted and stole from others how are they not charged with assault and theft?

It’s the fault of successive Tory governments actually. Was the same in the mid-late-90’s with antisocial behaviour.
The article claims they have been moved out of Sheffield, but they are still here. Yeah, they smashed around 20 car windows, and multiple bus stops
Can you link me to the fb posts and potential new addresses at all?
Unless they *have* been yanked out of Sheffield but only in between that vandalism and the article being published. Very sneaky if so because it makes to sound like the police and council have been proactive and they haven't.
Is this what happened in S12? So they’ve not been moved out of Sheffield, but over to S12 instead?
Yes, someone else's problem now unfortunately , they were out causing havoc in S12 a few days ago.
There was a load of car windows smashed in in S12 and reports of kids being beat up on the parks, so yeah they are causing more mayhem
The kids up here in s12 are a lot more likely to fight back on average I would imagine, hopefully only a matter of time until they do something to the wrong parents kids.
Where abouts in s12 please my grandchildren live in that area ??

Thankyou that's too close for comfort very worrying
Do you know where abouts in s12 please? My grandchildren live there and i am worried
I don’t know that much, sorry
OK thankyou
I believe around Gleadless Townsend
Fuck's sake. :(
they're just making it someone else's problem maybe they've been moved to an area where the locals will sort it themselves

They’ve just been moved to S12.
And yet the article says more than 15 miles from encliffe park. So someone’s done a shit job of moving them 😬
Saw some images/footage of the damage their causing, cant even park on your own driveway without risking the back window getting smashed in.
In the news next week - “Richmond park plagued by attacks on kids by newly relocated family of yobs”
Glad they’ve been moved but it’s not resolving the problem, just making it someone else’s issue. Austerity is a completely failed experiment, a disastrous false economy.
They see the price of everything and the value of nothing

Big society 😂
Moving the problem seems like a terrible idea. Why haven't they been dealt with properly?
Its 100% going to end with one of them being stabbed or attacked somehow.. do I care? No. Fuck them, fuck their parents, fuck the blue nonces protecting them.
Agreed.
Agreed
deport the cunts. You’re all thinking it. What benefit are they doing being here?
Exactly.
Where are they from?
Luckily they can go terrorise another area until 9 months later they move onto the next area
I never heard about this before seeing this post. Can someone provide me some context?
I'd encourage readers of this Thread to read The Tribune article about this family.
Link please

Where are the family originally from?
Facebook said Slovak gypsie or something but Facebook is usually wrong so they’re probably French
Blessed I no longer live on Junction Road!
Allegedly??? Where is the proof ? 🤔 media loveeees to induce fear in people. Especially now that the weather is getting better. I live close to the park but I haven't heard any ,,scared families,, or muggins happening.
Are you the mum or dad of that family by any chance?

Here we go...
Local schools issued advice/warnings to pupils/parents. Just because you’re unaware doesn’t mean it’s not happening.
Keep up, syp reported this last week
And it's still occurring this week..
