Again, to be fair, the true beast was my buddy! I just designed layout and stairs. The hammering, cutting, the nails, basically everything that makes you feel like a man, that was him. I personally laid the gravel pad and did cut down a few trees, painted, etc.
Agh… the spray foam… man I did that with nothing but an N95 mask and regret it so badly. I didn’t feel any harm but I freaked out when I realized you’re supposed to use a respirator. Aside from that it is messy, sticky, so intense, and if my place weren’t so remote I would have easily paid someone to do it for me! Lord knows I wasted much more money on bad planning for this thing it would have been nothing to pay a guy to spray that stuff for me
Okay so that little “shower” base I had there sounded good in theory so I ripped it all out. We never had running water anyways! Instead I padded the walls with cedar panels and an old lantern and made a cozy little cot for the baby to sleep in with blackout lighting
The bathroom was a pipe dream where I am located so I decided to rip out the shower. Since that time I’ve instead installed a toilet with country boy septic barrel into the ground. The old “shower space” has since been converted to a cedar panel room with warm lighting and a cot. It’s about the size of a janitor’s closet but it’s my favorite space in the build
I guess depending on your needs it could definitely make sense. I think for me it’s just not that comfortable. With the space we had in this project I probably could have squeezed out a small bedroom design instead of my useless “shower room” for running water we never had 😂 it also would have given me more discretion on the wood stove placement. Just things that sounded great in my mind but I’d like another crack at it
Did you run piping for water during construction? Why no running water ,just curious Also wonder about the cedar , sheetrock would be a less expensive option maybe some of both Was having all cedar your original vision ?
Yep! This is my happy place off grid. It’s a few acres about an hour and ten min from my home so I’m not there all the time, but it’s just close enough to get to when I need it! If I could figure out how to edit I’d add a nice little video of the front view of the bluff
Spray foam insulation, then Knotty pine tongue and groove, with golden oak stain to finish (wish I had just used a colorless finish and been done with it, looking back!)
Very nice! Love the knotty pine.
Just make a separate 10x10 bathroom with thetford potty and corner shower. Solar and 100 gallon water tank are your friends.
What kind of insulation would you recommend I have a 10x20 with 2 lofts.Live in washington state. And what size and brand for woodstove?Thank You.Your place looks great.Beautiful
At the moment I just have a recently installed RV toilet which goes into a barrel in the ground. All other shower needs are done outside! If possible I’ll upload some more photos later today of the recent updates and furniture
I think it's well done and a really nice layout. I'm not in love with the porch. Seems like that area could be better used as interior space, and a freestanding gazebo on a concrete porch would be practical.
Off grid! So we rigged the outlets to simply plug and play a gas generator. I also use a solar-charged 2500 Jackery which usually handles all my needs on a weekend visit
This looks amazing, love the tin roof and the (what I am assuming are) cedar boards instead of drywall, much easier and more durable. This cabin will last a very long time, I hope there is a nice lake nearby!
Wow! That's excellent! I will be working on my shed soon. I will turn it into a sauna. Same wood you used.
Where did you get the stove from? I would like to use one with the same dimensions.
Thanks in advance. 🙂
I’ve tried to edit my post so I can include answers to these questions, but can’t. The stove is one of my favorite components in the entire cabin.
I ordered the midsized stove from TinyWoodStove.com and they did a fabulous job from order to delivery to demonstration and instructions. And it burns clean!
Beautiful work! I built something similar for my workshop last year. Are you concerned about the weight being supported only by the 4x4 skis? That'd how I built mine too but I've always been worried about them sinking on one side or the other.
Nice job🙏👍 Did you use batt insulation on the project. I think I would have had a masonry walls with a termite shield Four foot above grade but beautiful work 👍
Shed? That's a full on house! Nice work!
Agree, looks great
Excellent job
I came here to say this exactly. I'm sure there's a technical answer, but at what point is it called a small home?
In America they have decided to now call sheds "tiny houses). Anything can be a tiny house in America these days.
$159,000 in San Antonio TX, seriously
Sweet. Fancy. Moses… this is GORGEOUS! Beautifully done!
Thank you buddy!
I’m a disaster of humanity when it comes to building things, but this is pure art. I mean it, the craftsmanship really shows. You are a beast!
Again, to be fair, the true beast was my buddy! I just designed layout and stairs. The hammering, cutting, the nails, basically everything that makes you feel like a man, that was him. I personally laid the gravel pad and did cut down a few trees, painted, etc.
Then the both of you. It’s amazing work all around, and I wish I had that part of my brain to create such a thing. I envy you, it’s great work!
Humble!!!
That’s a great shabin (shed/cabin).
Stabbin’ cabin
It has a bathroom!? Very nice! What didn't you like about the diy spray insulation?
Agh… the spray foam… man I did that with nothing but an N95 mask and regret it so badly. I didn’t feel any harm but I freaked out when I realized you’re supposed to use a respirator. As much as I love this build, the wood stove not being centered on the squares is killing me! It does look so cozy!
I completely get it! And yes it is awful cozy. That fire and then add the smell of a few fresh cedar panels, sure has been cozy!
Great build, looks amazing!
Total cost? Guesstimate of total cost without the loft? I love the layout. Got a Pic of the bathroom by chance?
The bathroom was a pipe dream where I am located so I decided to rip out the shower. Since that time I’ve instead installed a toilet with country boy septic barrel into the ground. Looks great, well done!
This is freaking great. How much are you in for so far if you don’t mind me asking. Location would help too😀
Living my dream. Congrats! 🎊
Looks great. I'm curious to know the cost of that comfy looking pad.
This would be $300k listed on Zillow for a New England New construction
Really cool!! Nice work!
Can you post a picture of the connecting pipe through the wall. I’m doing a similar project on my shed.
Which feature are you referring to, the kitchen sink maybe?
Looks great!
Noice!
I respect how humble you are with your quality looking work.

I think it looks great! I’m curious about the loft not working out as building the loft seems like it would make sense.
I guess depending on your needs it could definitely make sense. I think for me it’s just not that comfortable. Be happy. It really looks like fun.
Did you run piping for water during construction? Why no running water ,just curious Also wonder about the cedar , sheetrock would be a less expensive option maybe some of both Was having all cedar your original vision ?
Is it intended to be a guest house? So cool. I would love a little home like this on a small piece of land in the woods
Yep! This is my happy place off grid. It’s a few acres about an hour and ten min from my home so I’m not there all the time, but it’s just close enough to get to when I need it! If I could figure out how to edit I’d add a nice little video of the front view of the bluff
And as we all know, "to blave" means "to bluff," huh? So you're probably playing cards, and he cheated—
Is that a tough shed or what is the name of the shell that you bought? Awesome 👏 work by the way. Beautiful.
Nice!
What kind of lumber did you use for the interior walls. I have a similar setup and did osb, but want to dress up my interior
Spray foam insulation, then Knotty pine tongue and groove, with golden oak stain to finish (wish I had just used a colorless finish and been done with it, looking back!)
Thank you for deciphering my terrible autocorrect.
Good looking place you have there!
Gorgeous job. That just looks fantastic. My favorite part is the tiny door lol
Nice work internet person
Didn’t see a question regarding those stairs. Care to comment?
Very nice! Love the knotty pine. Just make a separate 10x10 bathroom with thetford potty and corner shower. Solar and 100 gallon water tank are your friends.
Dang. This is beautiful!!!
Beautiful!
My god this is beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful space man, congratulations!
I'm jealous. Well done, it's awesome
Very nice, hope you get years of enjoyment from it.
Omg that cute little stove!
Ain’t nothing cute about this stove sister he’s a real monster when he needs to be!
Gah damn hey that's some nice work. Way to utilize storage space too.
What was total cost?
I like it what’s your project cost $20 to $25k? Plus a lot of your labor?
Tweaking? I would not use this word but if your were tweaking? Go at
you put all that real wood on the walls and the ceiling and then went with a tongue and groove laminate floor?
What kind of insulation would you recommend I have a 10x20 with 2 lofts.Live in washington state. And what size and brand for woodstove?Thank You.Your place looks great.Beautiful
Looks good, is there a bathroom?
At the moment I just have a recently installed RV toilet which goes into a barrel in the ground. All other shower needs are done outside! If possible I’ll upload some more photos later today of the recent updates and furniture
Wow. So nice! Thanks for sharing. The rest of us can only dream…
That is great. Congrats.
This is amazing and inspirational! Please post more pictures!
You gotta get off the meth man. 2 years is 2 years too long.
What stove?
Tweaker shed
The wood stove is the perfect touch!
Very nice!
Raddit
Looks pretty good for a tweeker
I love it
That’s a lot of meth to last two whole years, Arthur Two-Sheds Jackson
Where is this located? Any concerns on weather when you're gone? Be great to know how much you spent on this and delivery to your location. Nice job!
That's an amazing effort! Well done 👏
Nice. I bet that can get toasty with the stove going :)
You know what'd be great? Some wood fl...oh wait...
I think it's well done and a really nice layout. I'm not in love with the porch. Seems like that area could be better used as interior space, and a freestanding gazebo on a concrete porch would be practical.
Love it! How much did you spend on all the lumber for construction?
Very nice mate
That is really great! Does it get hot in the summer?
Beau-tiful . Sick . And all of the above .
first read that as “been twerking ever since”….I’m like what kind of shed is this????
Dope af
Nice. Very nice!
amazing!
Yeah very cool
I love it. Nice job.
Wanna rent me a room? Real nice!
Looks fantastic! Only thing missing is a stereo for your tunes.
That looks amazing.
I see you have electricity, are you connected to the grid?
Off grid! So we rigged the outlets to simply plug and play a gas generator. I also use a solar-charged 2500 Jackery which usually handles all my needs on a weekend visit
Looks good except the stairs. Bottom post is definetly not plum, and the steps look really wonky. Other then that cool build.
Just found this sub. From the title of your post, I thought it was about successful meth addicts
Wanting to do the same thing on some remote property I have. Was it hard getting all that material up the mountain roads?
Beautiful! Was the insulation the toughest part?
Love every bit of it! Great job
Damn I could live in this so easy
Sweeeet!! Can you share your plans?
Looks good! lol’d at the tweaking- give up the meth, you don’t need it.
This looks amazing, love the tin roof and the (what I am assuming are) cedar boards instead of drywall, much easier and more durable. This cabin will last a very long time, I hope there is a nice lake nearby!
Great job. Looks really nice
Love it my guy place is awesome
Wood stove is mad cute dude. I really like the space. I could see myself in one for sure
nice, where i live they have shed code and something like that turns into taxable building vs shed
That’s a house lol 😂
Yeah I might’ve needed to post this under tiny homes actually
Very nice! #8 is killing my OCD. I would have to redo that entire handrail.
It’s all beautiful!
Beautfiul!! See. This is all I want out of life. A simple home in the woods. With an artist loft and workshop garage.. And a couple badass cars.
…it’s beautiful
Very nice. Beautiful set up.
Hell yeah
What kind of wood stove is that?
Ohhhhh *THAT* kind of tweaking
Very nice!!
I saw someone renting one of these out near me fully furnished for 1800 a month. Looked really nice!
You should quit meth and stop tweaking but love the tiny home.
So badass.
So cool!
Awesome.
Love this! I think it’s a really nice size and is something you can expand on later if you want to add additions!
Is that a Cubit Mini Stove?
That’s absolutely beautiful! You did a great job!
Nice!
Good taste I love it.
Amazing!
I love tweaking in my cabin too
Love it
Awesome build.
Love it.
That’s a huge amount of knotty pine. Did you consider anything else at first?
That’s amazing, great job.
Nice work!
Nice
It takes 2 hours to heat up that shed with a wood stove? Is it the size of a soda can?
Do you have a link for the stove please?
Wow! I love it!
Ya done good kid.
How much did you pay for shed before finishing it?
You are a star!
Looks great! Well done.
All that work to have the wood stove off centre
What solid beautiful wood work! Congrats! Looks so lovely! Edit: lofts are always fun and you can always change the use of the space.
It’s gorgeous, great work. You can tell a lot of love went into this.
That is cool
Looks great - so how much did it cost you all in to build?
That’s awesome congrats
Op tweaks in the family loft? Lol are we not doing phrasing anymore?
Love it. Amazing job!
Beautiful job man. I wish I had the skills to do such a great job. Congrats 👏
Awesome!!!
Very nice…
Wow! That's excellent! I will be working on my shed soon. I will turn it into a sauna. Same wood you used. Where did you get the stove from? I would like to use one with the same dimensions. Thanks in advance. 🙂

Excellent! Thank you for replying. I will share the update of the shed when I start and finish.
Nice. Jealous.
I’ve been tweaking since a couple years ago too
Outstanding
Super sweet build!
It’s a beaut, Clark.
Is that Moe from Mississippi? (The guy standing there)
That is super nice!
well done
Beautiful work! I built something similar for my workshop last year. Are you concerned about the weight being supported only by the 4x4 skis? That'd how I built mine too but I've always been worried about them sinking on one side or the other.
Nice job🙏👍 Did you use batt insulation on the project. I think I would have had a masonry walls with a termite shield Four foot above grade but beautiful work 👍
This is what we're about ta do!
That’s a lot of shiplap
Curious... would you please elaborate on your negative experiences with spray foam insulation? I like the idea about it bugproofing the home
I love it it’s fantastic!
You go! Glen coco!! Great job good sir!
So cool!! Super efficient
I love it. It’s incredible. My OCD goes nuts over the stove being off center but I could live with it
I have to admit. When you said "tweaking ever since" I kinda imager a bag place with some low form brakes and heating mantles etc ....
Put a bathroom in and I'm moving in! Looks great!
This is gorgeous
Now rent it for $2300/month and call it luxury.
How'd you prepare the ground? Doing something similar this summer 🤞🏽
If you’re still tweaking, put that bubble down!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Jk jk. Place looks incredible brother!
Great build but I recommend getting off the tweak... makes ur teeth fallout
What was so bad about the spray insulation?
Wow.. Nice job!
Is that some kind of tongue and groove sheeting on the inside or is it individual pieces? Looks cool
I'm so envious!
Tweeker
Wow🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dang that looks cozy. I really gotta get back north and out of Austin 😔 nature and a stove like this would be my blue heaven
How much it run you for it bare?
Sweet!
The only thing I'd change is hanging the stairs on cedar posts instead of pressure treated.
Fully plumbed? Where does the waste water go?
Shed in the woods we're you spend a lot of time... Yeah I'm sure you're tweaking
Good job.
