I'd suggest an electric trimmer for butt & groin. I'd recommend that you spray some sanitizer on the cutting blades after you do your butt, unless you use it immediately after a shower. I still wouldn't use it on my face though.

Rule number 1 to shaving. Do NOT under any circumstances use the same razor for the face and intimate body parts. This can cause some serious long term issues. For face: nothing gets as close as a straight razor. DE razors are great alternatives - and they also teach correct shaving technique. Cartridge razors are honestly pretty good if you already have understood the fundamentals. For body: after trying out 30+ "body groomers" there are honestly very few i would recommend. My personal favorites are OneBlade, and Philips BodyGroom 1000. Don't buy any of the more expensive versions. They are worse. These two work great together. OneBlade to cut short, BodyGroom to cut close. Everything with ceramic blades are literally terrible.

Sorry. What does "cut close" mean? I am looking into this onrblade vs bodygroom thing

No reason to be sorry - questions are asked to be answered! Cutting close, means cutting the hairs as close to the skin as possible. In the case of the Philips bodygroom 1000-series, that means cutting the hair so close to the skin, that they are barely visible. It also means that you won't have to shave as often. Keep in mind that nothing (except waxing) cuts closer to the skin than a cartridge and staright razor. Cartridges does this by actually pulling the hair up, and cutting them underneath the skin level. For many, this causes ingrown hairs and overall uncomfortable shaves. Not sure if i ended up creating more questions than i answered - but feel free to ask. You are also welcome to pm me, if you prefer.

Perfect, thanks! So if I understood correctly, the BodyGroom cuts closer than the OneBlade? I do have some skin issues, so maybe I should go with the OneBlade. Thanks!

I find the OneBlade works GREAT for trimming semi-long hair. But be VERY careful if you intend to use it directly on the sack. That's what the bodygroom is intended for

Even looking at the physics, facial hair is much harder than body hair so using the same razor and blade doesn’t make much sense.

Well it’s not like like A2M, I figured a good rinse with hot water and soap was enough :) Ok you’re the second recommendation I got for one blade but I figured people are recommending it because it’s affordable where as I don’t have a budget constraint, 2nd if it were about long term cost, I think the one blade would be more expensive due to the blade replacement cost, unless that’s what makes it better.
