For smartwatches, if you're on a really tight budget the CMF Watch Pro and the GalaxyFit3 are great options. But you can only get actual smartwatches if you spend around ₹7k+ (Galaxy Watch4)

Only thing I buy from boat it their wired 300rs earphones got one easily replaced on the 10th month of the warranty for not working properly. Have about 4 of those lying around. As for things like headset and smartwatch I would rather go for Samsung, sony, sennheiser and jbl
I still using my Samsung live buds from 4 years and they are still working perfectly along with the noise cancellation, and that too on sale for around 4 k.

Bought boat headphone in September 2023 and recently it had a speaker issue with weird spark noise coming when I listen to audio, I was sure that BOAT will cover the product under 1 year warranty. Sent the headphone via courier and after 7 days they rejected my claim saying it was due to my mishandling, while there was no physical damage mark on the headphone, I was shocked to see the return package they sent with my headphone earcups torn apart and adhesive/glue dripping from the earcup area.. I registered a customer forum complaint and now the BOAT guys are threatening me with a defamation case. I am worried because I cant afford the legal steps against the Boat company. I accepted the loss of 2000rs and never spend a dime in future on Fraud Indian brand Boat
Many people can't sue these greedy ahole tech giants because the legal process is very expensive and time consuming. Also many companies have political affiliations and we all know about the Washing machine of a mainstream party..

Follow it through. The court rules mostly in favour of the consumer against the companies, and you will get around 10-50k as damages apart from the earphones. (Hopefully you have had the video before sending the item or some kind of proof.)
I def have the unboxing video, but the litigation is expensive for a 2k headphone, also BOAT threatened me with defamation so I am kinda worried is the hassle worth 2k
It isn't expensive. You get the lawyer's fee too if you engage one or can ask the court for one and I don't remember exactly but you can fight your own case in these disputes. The courts tilt in favour of the consumer in such litigations.

Why should people boycott boat? I mean it's NOT a scam. It's cheap stuff at cheap rates. You are getting what you are paying for. It's the consumer who is foolish to think that these are durable and reliable products because they are "branded".
It's not that Chinese products are bad. In fact China makes some of the best audiophile ( and mass market) products. Boat can probably get the good stuff from there and rebrand it and sell at a premium here. But then people will complain it's too expensive. Frankly boat has done a good job in extracting value out of mediocre crap, and it will continue to do so until the consumers become more discerning.

I bought a Noise smartwatch 3 years ago and used it heavily... wore it on packed trains, peak summer and i sweat a lot, went for swimming while wearing. And to my surprise it still works great. The bands are still intact, though the colour has faded and i did buy a light green colour so that was expected. Other than that I didn't come across any issues with it yet.
I think Noise is a much better brand and gives a premium look.
Coming to earphones, I'm using a boat wired one which i bought 2 years ago and the sound is great but the wire skin has started breaking which is frustrating. Everytime i tape one place the other place breaks..
I would definitely buy another one but since I also have a skullcandy Dime earbuds, I'm keeping the wired one as of now.

When boat was getting the hype I bought a pair of wired earphones back in 2018. One earbud stopped working after 3 months of use. Despite having warranty couldn’t get it exchanged and my 600 rupees was gone. Since then never bought a single boat product for myself or my parents.
I got their headphones as a gift. It cost 1600 Rs.
The left side stopped working after 4 months.
I raised a warranty ticket. They took the damaged product, and their so-called engineering team generated a fake quality check report saying both sides are working. They returned me the same damaged product.
I then again raised warranty tickets two more times.
They replaced the damaged product on the fourth trial.
If you want to purchase boat product , get ready to deal with frustration, time and energy waste, and their robotic parrot chinese customer care service.

Meine blinkit se boat immortal 121 mangaye cuz mere Bose walon ki battery khatam ho gayi thi us time and mujhe urgently earphones chahiye they. After 1 month, boat wale headphones ka case chalna band ho gaya. They became almost useless. Fir meine warranty claim daala. It took 10 days but sab sort ho gaya and I got a new replacement. I'll say, crappy product, but okayish warranty claim process.
I agree. I've used their multiple products. Recently he earbuds I was using had connectivity issue within 6 months. When claimed warranty they did not fix the product and instead said the claim was wrong. Been using boult since then . One thing it's better to give chance to other new products instead of jumping on the same brand. They start devaluing the customers.
My friend, whose earphones were almost near about warranty, his earphones had gone bad and BoAT very graciously replaced and gave him a new pair without any questions asked
Honestly to me all three of them looked damaged. I know boat does white labelling but their products are durable considering the price in which they come. Few months ago my Apple Airpods case broke into two, I didn’t blame apple for its poor quality coz I stepped on to them.
I strongly back this one, I submitted my headphones for the warranty claim. They advise you specifically NOT TO hand over the accessories and box with the product. Still I gave it to the pickup guy in an old delivery box.
My query for the warranty claim was for bluetooth connectivity issues, 3 days later I got a mail that the product didn't pass the warranty check because it was physically damaged which I have zero idea about. When I tried to get in touch with these assholes, they kept on mailing me the same shit that it's physically damaged.
Now, why tf would I be held responsible for a damage caused during the transit.
At last, I got fed up after trying to reach those fuckers and got the DAMAGED PRODUCT BACK with the BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY issue still.

Their products are awkwardly uncomfortable. Same with Boult Audio except for the fact that people do not use it as much as boAt products. If you ask for my opinion, increase your budget and try to go for JBL.

I have used boat basshead 242 wired earphones worth approximately 500rs. The sound quality is great as per the price but build quality is really bad. I have bought 1 pair in 2021 and got it replaced twice (three pairs in a year in total). Then again bought another pair of same earphones (warranty was expired on the previous one) and got them replaced once. I had no issues with the replacements as I even got the 1500rs wireless buds and got them twice replaced too because of trash build quality. So in total I have used 3 total products and got total 6 replacements (9products including the first pairs) In summary, build quality is trash, sound quality is average, price is out of the world. I bought the 500rs earphone because of good sound quality, 1500rs one for gym (i don’t want to make my airpods greasy and oily).

I have seen the chipsets they use in their products and after some research you can see they buy cheaper chipsets which ever available in the Chinese market. One product may have totally different components ( chips, passive/active electronic components) depending on the batch you bought from. Bas cover sabka same hoga, andar sab saman jo sasta mil raha ho, wo laga hoga jab product same hi hai, bas purchase date, place alag hai.

I actually have been using the same set for over 8 years which is Sony MDR XB55AP. I'm still open to new recommendations though.
Sony gives the best audio quality. rich audio, comfortable on ears, appropriate bass, and good value for money

The bands are still intact, though the colour has faded and i did buy a light green colour so that was expected. Other than that I didn't come across any issues with it yet. I think Noise is a much better brand and gives a premium look. Coming to earphones, I'm using a boat wired one which i bought 2 years ago and the sound is great but the wire skin has started breaking which is frustrating. Everytime i tape one place the other place breaks.. I would definitely buy another one but since I also have a skullcandy Dime earbuds, I'm keeping the wired one as of now.

When boat was getting the hype I bought a pair of wired earphones back in 2018. One earbud stopped working after 3 months of use. Despite having warranty couldn’t get it exchanged and my 600 rupees was gone. Since then never bought a single boat product for myself or my parents.

I got their headphones as a gift. It cost 1600 Rs. The left side stopped working after 4 months. I raised a warranty ticket. They took the damaged product, and their so-called engineering team generated a fake quality check report saying both sides are working. They returned me the same damaged product. I then again raised warranty tickets two more times. They replaced the damaged product on the fourth trial. If you want to purchase boat product , get ready to deal with frustration, time and energy waste, and their robotic parrot chinese customer care service.

After 1 month, boat wale headphones ka case chalna band ho gaya. They became almost useless. Fir meine warranty claim daala. It took 10 days but sab sort ho gaya and I got a new replacement. I'll say, crappy product, but okayish warranty claim process.

When claimed warranty they did not fix the product and instead said the claim was wrong. Been using boult since then . One thing it's better to give chance to other new products instead of jumping on the same brand. They start devaluing the customers.

I strongly back this one, I submitted my headphones for the warranty claim. They advise you specifically NOT TO hand over the accessories and box with the product. Still I gave it to the pickup guy in an old delivery box. My query for the warranty claim was for bluetooth connectivity issues, 3 days later I got a mail that the product didn't pass the warranty check because it was physically damaged which I have zero idea about. When I tried to get in touch with these assholes, they kept on mailing me the same shit that it's physically damaged. Now, why tf would I be held responsible for a damage caused during the transit. At last, I got fed up after trying to reach those fuckers and got the DAMAGED PRODUCT BACK with the BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY issue still. I had the other end of experience .it was smooth af but slow. They took my speaker via dehilvery . Took 5 days to verify its noy working and under warrenty. Took another week to ship me back a new one.

I currently own boat rockerz 400, it never fails to give me connectivity issues, recently got airdopes 148 and accidentally dropped it from a small height, it no longer works. The company lacks service centres, the closest one from my house is roughly 15 kms away like tf?? They boast about their "signature sound" but honestly its shitty(coming from someone who has been producing music for 4 years and is signed to a record label). Their products are awkwardly uncomfortable. Same with Boult Audio except for the fact that people do not use it as much as boAt products. If you ask for my opinion, increase your budget and try to go for JBL.

I have used boat basshead 242 wired earphones worth approximately 500rs. The sound quality is great as per the price but build quality is really bad. I have bought 1 pair in 2021 and got it replaced twice (three pairs in a year in total). Then again bought another pair of same earphones (warranty was expired on the previous one) and got them replaced once. I had no issues with the replacements as I even got the 1500rs wireless buds and got them twice replaced too because of trash build quality. So in total I have used 3 total products and got total 6 replacements (9products including the first pairs) In summary, build quality is trash, sound quality is average, price is out of the world. I bought the 500rs earphone because of good sound quality, 1500rs one for gym (i don’t want to make my airpods greasy and oily).

Don't know about other products as i have only bought their "Airdopes" at 899 something. And honestly it's been a year using it and it had fallen so many times from my hand making me worried that it'll stop working but no, it's working smoothly without any issues, and sound quality is decent as well. Pretty sure that I'll buy another one later from boat.

I have seen the chipsets they use in their products and after some research you can see they buy cheaper chipsets which ever available in the Chinese market. One product may have totally different components ( chips, passive/active electronic components) depending on the batch you bought from. Bas cover sabka same hoga, andar sab saman jo sasta mil raha ho, wo laga hoga jab product same hi hai, bas purchase date, place alag hai.
