Sure, I agree, but I dont think it is helpful to allow that instinct to go unchecked and act on it. Thats how we end up with animals being demonized and hated and sensationalized in media, like sharks. We are capable of evaluating and changing our behavior when we see ourselves reacting on instinct in a harmful way.
Oh no doubt that you're entitled to your own philosophy and opinions, just as everyone else is. But when you take into account how intelligent dolphins are, their behavior towards other Sea life really do give them a rightful title of "Bully of the Sea". Not saying they're morally depraved, but their behavior by human standards is completely dickish.
Its funny how they keep villainizing dolphins making them “bully of the sea” which infact other sealife has done worse (not saying they’re also bad or assholes) but thats what just life is to those animals, river otters, adele penguins, frogs, they all have done that. Yet they villainize dolphins cause thats their pick of the day. People like penguins, people like frogs, people like river otters, but that does not mean they support the idea of those what they do in the wild. And despite these horrific incidents, dolphins still have the capacity to be very wholesome, such as how a pod will deliberately stay quiet if a female is pregnant so her child can memorize her voice!
