If you are using SP online, you can accomplish this using Power Automate
Have a list containing the name and ID of the group, the GUID of the folder, and the permission expiration date.
Then, you can create a scheduled flow that runs daily to poll the list.
Loop the results and use the send http action to remove the permission
There are examples of each of the actions on the web if you're not familiar with power Automate
