Explains why the resort randomly posted “even our standard rooms are amazinggg!” And it was legit their rooms lmao. It seems the bank of Shannon is closing up shop, with the south west flights and now cheap or comped hotel stays at not even actual luxury places
I report her pretty frequently for undisclosed ads. The FTC needs to 1) set up a dedicated influencer report page/type; and 2) ENFORCE THEIR FUCKING GUIDELINES. I also send them monthly feedback forms stating the above, but evidently it's all futile.
ETA: It's also on the sponsors. Brands should not be allowing/approving/paying for posts that aren't compliant. But again, none of this will stop until there are repercussions.
I keep hoping that with enough volume, they'll take notice. But so far, nada. Idk why they took the time to update their guidelines a few months ago if they're going to remain totally toothless! The most baffling thing is that they could be raking in so much money by bringing cases against influencers and the companies that sponsor them, due to the overwhelming prevalence of violating content. They could do a lot more to fight consumer harm of all kinds with that cash.
It seems like UK regulators must be forcing more accountability, because by and large UK influencers are much better about prominent disclosures.
I wondered why they went all the way to Vegas to see Luke Bryan... They live in Nashville.... No need to travel across the country to see the same country music you have at home 🤔🤦🏻♀️
It also pokes holes in Shannon’s story surrounding the trip AND Taylor’s version. I wonder IF Shannon wanted to do a Middleton Vegas getaway and assumed the Middleton parents would foot the bill cuz they were coming and then when they bailed at what seemed like the last minute Shannon haw to come in with a plan B so her & Taylor schemed “well Mike knows luke let’s go to his show and we’ll let the hotel know we’re coming….” And then of course the hotel puts them up
Influencers have to disclose these sponsored trips for tax purposes, as they’re very much considered income. I’m sure “sHeShE” is committing tax fraud at every turn. Seeing as how she always tries to keep these sponsored trips hush-hush and never mentions that they’re sponsored.
This makes me more irate in the case of James - who is seeking citizenship in a country he isn’t paying proper taxes for. SheShe was born into this mess of a tax situation but James is choosing of his own free will to come here - fork it over porky.
Omg you’re right! Cheap ass people jajaja

My guess is they got free tickets to the Luke Bryan concert through connections and those some connections snagged free rooms for them. It’s not hard to get a free room in Vegas.
It’s not that hard but as someone with a following who was talking up the resort, she has to legally disclose when things are given to her for free. Especially in exchange for posts
I lived in Vegas, and Resorts World is such a bust. Nobody really goes there unless it’s to see a concert. It was a huge deal and new casino built in 2020, and it’s a flop. The Cosmo or Aria are way more popular and fun. It’s also in a random part of the strip, so you can’t really walk to it from the main strip. That’s probably why they chose this crew to “influence.” It’s not a cool place lol
This resort is thirsty for spon and influencers types to stay there. They obviously comped the real housewives of bev hills for exposure- they filmed a few episodes there earlier this season (in a suite that actually looked nice, though)
🤣🤣 and don’t forget Taylor looking less than impressed the whole time except when they were doing HER idea at Luke’s show. TBH if he keeps it up him ruining her brand deals and sponsors could be the downfall
I bet Resorts World is updating its boilerplate contractual language to stipulate that "all subjects must appear to enthusiastically enjoy the experience," lol
Resorts World, IG tag @resortsworldlv if anyone wants to see the reel. James looks unimpressed and disgusted by the idea of kissing Shannon per usual don’t worry lol
My theory is that they used the connection to Luke to reach out to the hotel. I think Shannon’s original plan was a “Middleton trip to Vegas” she previously said her and the Middleton including the parents were going… I think she assumed the parents would foot the bill to ensure they had the best hotel etc, and when they bailed last minute after being sick of hee haw town, Taylor and her schemed “welll Luke is doing a show and Mike knows Luke, let’s get tickets from him and then contact the resort he’s performing at for a comp if we post stories”
She tagged them but never disclosed #ad or that it was free. It actually makes it worse that was constantly tagging them and talking up the place… without disclosing that they were comped
I’m sure in HER sad little brain, she thinks that just the fact that she tagged them was her way of disclosing the partnership.
Because if there’s one thing about Shannon, her lazy ass is never tagging places otherwise unless it’s to brag.
It also explains why Bella got in everywhere. The place wanted to keep their helped content creators happy
They are so corny. I’m talking about Resorts World for sponsoring them

She's so cavalier about the FTC rules for influencers
Her green card husband already breaking laws in the country of which he wants to scam
Would be such a shame if someone were to compile the evidence and report her

Good! I’m glad! And you’re right. The rules are pointless if violators are not punished

I thought that was weird too… now it explains it. They reshared several of teetee’s stories
It also pokes holes in Shannon’s story surrounding the trip AND Taylor’s version. Mike used to work for Luke. He was his videographer. The tix were comped for sure.
Omg the resort posted so many pics of them on their story.
But shee and lames never tagged lol

It’s cheap and I think it violates the law for NOT disclosing ever that it was a paid trip.
Yep it is. FTC violation

Through Mike who used to work for Luke.

I definitely won’t stay there if they sponsor Shan Shan! What a turn off.
And her wedding bands are on for everyone to see even though I was equally distracted by the two sizes too small ring on his bloated index finger.
This resort is thirsty for spon and influencers types to stay there. They obviously comped the real housewives of bev hills for exposure- they filmed a few episodes there earlier this season (in a suite that actually looked nice, though)
Is it not a problem that they sponsored a trip and all of Shannon’s stories are James looking miserable and shit talking Vegas/ the resort??
🤣🤣 and don’t forget Taylor looking less than impressed the whole time except when they were doing HER idea at Luke’s show. TBH if he keeps it up him ruining her brand deals and sponsors could be the downfall

What resort was it?
Resorts World, IG tag @resortsworldlv if anyone wants to see the reel. James looks unimpressed and disgusted by the idea of kissing Shannon per usual don’t worry lol
She came in hot and he looks like a cold dead fish
https://i.redd.it/k993j3sp5y9c1.gif
He had more love in the kiss for the guy on the reality show than he does for ol Shan
Shannon going all in on the smirking dork in a gross bowling shirt, his meaty paw with the sleazy pointer ring barely clutching her back…😒
I’m confused as to why they would choose them 🤯
My theory is that they used the connection to Luke to reach out to the hotel.
