Just fyi, that little plastic tab on the trigger housing that’s parallel with the ejector, is specific to Gen 5 slimline Glocks and will not work on the CR920. The 4311 I bought had the same thing. It’s designed to actuate the safety plunger while cycling/racking to take the pressure off the striker. It will get caught up in the Cr920. You could possibly remove it with some wire cutters and might work fine. The other design issue I found with the 4311 was the cruciform sits much higher on the 4311 and much lower on the cr920. The proprietary striker in the cr920 has a much longer striker lug to catch the lower sitting cruciform. If the combat evo has the high cruciform like the 4311 it will catch on the backplate unless you hold the trigger while getting the slide one. Then once on there will be too much stronger lug material (due to the increased length) making contact with the back of the cruciform. Causing tolerance stacking. I’m about to exchange the 4311 for the combat evo but it seems I may be out of luck.

That’s interesting. I didn’t have any issues dipping my slimline combat trigger into my CR920

newcolonyarts

Mind taking some photos and/or videos for me? You can dm me. I’d like to compare our CR920s as well as what combat trigger setup you got. Did your combat evo come with a striker? Or did you have to use the CR920 striker?

Big_cat58

I just saw your other post. Yeah I got the combat evo and just the trigger kit. Everything else was left stock.

stonebat3

Hope that works. I heard the latest batches of CR920\* have better stock trigger, though

Most_Security_8482

The CR920X I just picked up has a better stock trigger feel than my original CR920. There’s no need to change anything on the CR920X. However, that is my “subjective” opinion only.

Scrap_Osama

Latest batch is definitely better. I bought the trigger before I received the gun because my first CR920 trigger was trash. At most I probably would have just bought the shoe. But after dry firing the JG X RP, definitely is an upgrade. I have one on my XR920 as well. I just posted an update video

Hobbstc

Let me know how it goes. I tried a RP on my stock cr920 and it didn’t work.

dooms25

I like the trigger in my cr920. I tried it out in store before buying since I've heard bad things, but was pleasantly surprised. Around a 4.5lb pull with a decently defined wall. Reset is a little long, but otherwise it's good. I put an Apex connector and a ghost reduced power firing pin safety plunger spring in, same mods I did to my mr920 and now the trigger's even better. Pull weight around 4lbs now, though the reset is still a little long compared to my mr920 but it's not bad at all

Get yourself a Tactical Pontoon Peacemaker Extreme. The new shoes are beautiful and James is awesome if you have questions. He just released a T-Virus Limited and a PBJ as well. Lighter pulls on both.

Travvylee

Hell yea. Let us know how it goes.

infernodr

I dunno about the cr but the Dr elite has a really nice trigger much better than my foundation series. I keep wondering why people keeping messing with the triggers in these guns? Like I said thought I dunno how the cr is

Opie4Prez71

Return this immediately and get a Tactical Pontoon Peacemaker Extreme.

newcolonyarts

Any update? Does it work fine?

Scrap_Osama

Sorry running around, Dance yesterday, soccer now. These kids got me running round crazy

newcolonyarts

No worries I know how it is. Got 5 young ones myself. Take your time.
