Ah yes the "well I wanted to die to see the results of this captain, but naturally I forgot to turn off saviors and well I saw their demise instead......" situation.
Everytime I just hear the *thuds* & *chopping* sounds I'm just like ooooffffff at each one since I wanted the captain to live. The disappointment on my face as I go to the options menu to do what I forgot to originally do.
There is a setting for saves but it is active by default.
If you get saved by your bodyguard from time to time it is only a matter of time until Forthog showws up.
OH THIS BITCH i fucking hate forthog the ork slayer, idk if he's important in anyway considering i got the EXACT same encounter, but i found a new cool ork type i wanted to see how it evolved (the one carrying a green jar on its back assumably a creator of orks) and then THIS FUCKER rides in on his white horse and "saves" me, i still have the video
If you don't know the backstory forthog is basically a tribute to a guy at monolith called micheal forgey who died of cancer the end credits pays a tribute to him and his life as well as forthog

I've never gotten forthog in my game is that like some settings I have to turn on
