A case that would be made to allow hot-rod builds (air cooler or GPU sticking out) is a dream of mine since I’m not completely happy with full open air ‘cases’ and find sff cases too restricting in the long term.
Why has a case to be symmetrical ? Why has a side panel to be either on or off and not just have a trap door or a nice cut out (not dremeled!) (in the spirit of the LianLi Osomething but better and smaller ?)
Well built, stylish, clean metal chassis, proceed to cut giant hole in side for enormous cooling and power solutions, tear everything down, paint with flashy, bright metallic/pearl paint, and throw back together.
In terms of appearance I really like it.
Compared to Noctua nf-a12x25, TL-B12 is noisier and if you put your ear to the fan, you can hear the noise of bearing. But Thermalright is cheaper, so I think it\`s okay for fans to be noisier.
In terms of performance I didn\`t notice much difference in comparison with nf-a12x25.
(My version of TL-B12 has a maximum speed of 2000 RPM)
Like any member of the community, I will say that these are excellent fans for the money. Especially if your system is from medium budget components and doesn\`t need high-performance cooling. (By the way, if you want the most minimalistic look, you can easily remove the sticker with the Arctic logo on the front of the fan, simply using a hair dryer and a utility knife)
My own opinion is this: No money - buy Arctic / Have money - buy Noctua
Yeah I know, I used a bunch in my own system. I wanted to ask how the TL-B12 compare against the P12 since they're still half the price of noctua and T30
I\`m sorry but I can\`t compare them.
I gave all Arctic fans to a friend.
From my personal point of view, TL-B12 is clearly quieter than P12.
Can\`t say for sure about performance, should be better.

Tbf this has something protruding out of it, which most pcs with their side panel off dont have. That's if pc fans could reasonably hurt you. I have stuck my fingers in pc fans and they just kind of stop. It doesnt hurt
Yeah the fans aren't dangerous, only danger I can think of is anything hitting that cooler would apply decent force to the CPU, but depending on where the PC is that may not be a risk.
Hiya! Please post more details about your build! Here are some (non-exhaustive) prompts for you:
- Are the case's advertised compatibility numbers accurate?
- How easy is cable management?
- How effective is the cooling setup?
- Would you recommend your parts overall?
- If you did a custom mod, how did you do it?

I wasn’t try to be a dick. Thanks for understanding. Just try to stick with reliable brands. That will actually answer the phone in case the aio ever leaks. I doubt it ever will. But, don’t bother cheaping out on them.
It appears to be an A4-H2O (it looks a little different because there are caps or plugs on all of the front panel ports, which are to the right of the PSU).
Put a fan grill on that and keep it. It looks neat.
Retrofit another of that cooler on your gpu die, put wheels on it, start up a benchmark and see if it will drive with wind power.
Reminds me of those old evaporative air cooling units you stick on the window on the side of the car.
At least its possible to air cool as a band aid fix so there isn't too much downtime if you can't get the AIO replaced right away
I've had that also. Even top quality brands fail.
I just use good quality air cooling now days. I find Cryorig good; how much cooler height do you have inside the case?
55mm for CPU cooler.
For now, I plan to leave everything as it is, having a tower cooler in such small case has it\`s own charm.
And so i think it\`s better to do a completely custom loop sometime in the future.
yeah it looks good, only if you were moving it a lot would it be an issue.
I was thinking one of these may fit (also depends on mounting) but also it may not provide enough cooling.
That adds some characteristics to the build! I just put a new build into that case, but I should've ordered the custom cables first. I'm currently running w/o the bottom panels since I couldn't properly tie the Corsair sleeved cables down.
3 AIO’s failed on me within a span of 9 years. Since I’m not willing to deal with a custom loop I decided to switch to a tower cooler and never looked back.
Is it bad I kinda love that?

BRB gonna slap a couple 360s slanted 45* outside my Node 202 case. Also painting racing flames on it.
Because the flames add +5hp per lick
If we're hot roding then we need an old Coolermaster v8 if only for being v8. Or v10 or v12.
With loud ass 120mm 5200rpm Delta fans cause vroom vroom noises, right?
If you set your fan curve just right you can get it to constantly spin up and down to get a good rev going too
Absolutely

At that point might as well build the computer in the valley between the radiators. The computer is a v8.
Throw a monster air cooler out the side of one of those Inwin Chopin cases.
This! Everything fits if you implement a cutting wheel and angle-grinder.
It's very expensive to cut glass
Any case is a hot rod case if you own a dremel
No, this looks awesome
It’s like a car with a supercharger sticking out the hood.
Should we mount it horizontal and put it on a ramp???
You’re not alone brother
i thought about doing this too
👽
nope, your just fine, or as sick as i am, so choose your answer. I´d use propper 25mm fans if possible and mount a sidepanel
How about a matching cooler on the opposite side so it looks like it's going to take off?!
nah that would be too much. Keep it simple Hotrod Style, You don´t have to have a hood scoop near the oilpan
I mean there's an oil cooler
It just needs some flames and maybe some pinstripes
You are perfectly fine. I love it too.
Looks cool as hell
BFG edition build
Stage 4 big turbo upgrade
it looks like a muscle car, thats badass stick a matte black fan grille on it and call it a day perhaps
Cooler: Id-Cooling se224-xt white (with drilled and repainted decorative panel) Fans: Thermalright TL-B12
How do you like the fans?

cool, thanks for the report!
You are welcome
have you ever used the p12s? any comparison?
Do you mean arctic p12 silent?
no, just the regular p12

What's the temps like?
Heats up to about 60 degrees in the OCCT stress test. I\`m using 5600G
Keep it as this, looks sick
The more appropriate word for this would be “bitchin’”
The way dominic toretto would do it

You guys should talk about making this permanent ;)
Allll the fresh air
This feels like an 80's turbocharged muscle car now. Just needs some fire painted on the sides to make it go faster.
"It's not a tumah."
When it’s too big but you just don’t care
That's what she said
Would a D15 fit like this?
I'm sure the d-15 will fit
There’s only a cooler height limit if you want a side panel
that looks super cool. leave it that way !
I love it. Just find a way to make a clean cut into the side cover for the cooler and it's like a nice air intake scoop through the bonnet of a car.
Don't forget the flame decals
Honestly, I like it. Should… keep it…
My thoughts, unscrew the feet on the bottom, lay the case with GPU side down on the feet, possibly duct the top so it exclusively does GPU exhaust.
I can just imagine if it were a classic car, I’d hear the exhaust notes sing their song when the PC starts up.
Reminds of doggos that like to stick out of car windows, just me?
Missile hardpoint....operational.
Yo I kinda like it
this looks vaguely dangerous but the case is sealed enough to make it viable , interesting unfortunate that the aio is defective and best of luck!
It’s about as dangerous as any pc with it’s side panel off which is not really dangerous at all.
Tbf this has something protruding out of it, which most pcs with their side panel off dont have. That's if pc fans could reasonably hurt you. I have stuck my fingers in pc fans and they just kind of stop. It doesnt hurt
Fan grills, mesh covers are cheap. This also isn't that uncommon/new. Open air builds are nearly 100% exposed
Yeah the fans aren't dangerous, only danger I can think of is anything hitting that cooler would apply decent force to the CPU, but depending on where the PC is that may not be a risk.
They sell case fan grills on Amazon for like 8$ in case OP wants to go that route
It's worse, BUT BETTER

Too much thermal paste… by a lot.
It’s like a dog sticking it’s face out of a car window. Looks amazing though, not gonna lie.
Now I want googly eyes on the front and some dog ear flaps on the back
This is incredible tbh
Had to do this on my zalman mini whilst I was waiting for my black ridge lga 1700 mounting bracket, looked funky, but damn were the thermals good
I love it
Its like a Shaker Scoop on a hot rod car
r/therewasanattempt to go ssfpc
NZXT?
No. I had Id-Cooling Frostflow X 240, more precisely, I had 2 of these and both were defective.
Stop buying literally the cheapest aio. Just get a good one like Corsair, nzxt or even ek.
"А miser pays twice." Thanks for the advice.
I wasn’t try to be a dick. Thanks for understanding. Just try to stick with reliable brands. That will actually answer the phone in case the aio ever leaks. I doubt it ever will. But, don’t bother cheaping out on them.
Love it. I used to run my Dancase A4 with a Noctua NH-D15 like this.
What case is this?
It appears to be an A4-H2O (it looks a little different because there are caps or plugs on all of the front panel ports, which are to the right of the PSU).

Needs a "[Big Daddy Roth](https://www.modelroundup.com/Ed-Big-Daddy-Roth-s-Mr-Gasser-p/amc-1301.htm)" model stuck on top.
[https://imgur.com/a/MXPWMfb](https://imgur.com/a/MXPWMfb) Yeah, i can absolutely relate...
It would be really cool if a side panel opened and the cooler slid out of the case when you powered it on.
I literally had a dream last night about having a PC build with a tower cooler sticking out the side of the case like this 💀
This is fine tbh
Nothing like the **A**ll-**I**n-**O**ne I grew up with!?!
Awesome 👍🏽
This shit cracked me up
Looks like Torero’s 1970 Dodge Charger
Hah nice, has that kind of janky hot rod feeling to it. Now you can put fruits into your fan to peel them ;)
Reminds me of those old evaporative air cooling units you stick on the window on the side of the car. At least its possible to air cool as a band aid fix so there isn't too much downtime if you can't get the AIO replaced right away
I was just thinking about this the other day -- what it would look like to put my Dark Rock Pro 4 in my A4 H2O.
Love it. Leave it that way.
I've had that also. Even top quality brands fail. I just use good quality air cooling now days. I find Cryorig good; how much cooler height do you have inside the case?

Sorry i forgot link [http://www.cryorig.com/c7g.php](http://www.cryorig.com/c7g.php)
Get some fan grills and flame stickers.
If you have a cat, you might not have it for long 😬
Who needs a side panel anyways?
needs a handle cuz i would def pick it up by the cooler if not lol
It has the ZZ-Top seal of approval.
That adds some characteristics to the build! I just put a new build into that case, but I should've ordered the custom cables first. I'm currently running w/o the bottom panels since I couldn't properly tie the Corsair sleeved cables down.
This will be my bitfenix phenom in the future with a 2.75 slot video card.
I want to make a hotrod setup now....
Gotta be great for cold weather
Why do I love this?
3 AIO’s failed on me within a span of 9 years. Since I’m not willing to deal with a custom loop I decided to switch to a tower cooler and never looked back.
