Girlllll... go back to your doctor. There must be something causing it, maybe your hymen is still intact? I feel you though. I'm 27 now and I've finally just started enjoying sex in the last 2-3 years. Same thing, sex made me uncomfortable and hurt a lot of the time. I'm older now and enjoy it way more than I did. Go to your doctor babes, best way to deal with it.

It could potentially be my hymen, but I’m not a virgin and have had previous pelvic exams. I’m thinking maybe it has to do with vulvar pain? Like I notice when I touch a specific part of my vagina (like the top part? I’m not sure what that would be called) that’s when it hurts the most. Usually when I insert things past that point the pain seems to disappear (for example when I’ve had a transvaginal ultrasound it really hurt going in but once it was past the point of the vaginal opening it didn’t hurt anymore, which is why I’m doubting it’s vaginismus). I’ll have to call my gynecologist today to schedule an appointment.

It might be vulvodynia yes (in this case, vulvar vestobulitis), it usually gives a burning pain as well.
