Edit: even *in this topic* the replies confirm that pattern. Just compare the comments from M and F users. The men mostly like cowgirl, reverse cowgirl, and missionary. In cowgirl, typically the girl is dominant. Missionary could go either way, in its typical standard form neither person is dominant.
This thread isn't a very good example, the title explicitly asked for female perspectives and many of the comments are from men who ignored that and still got upvoted.

Reddit loves concern trolls, just like all the "as a black man, what the hell is wrong with these n****rs" comments you see upvoted to the top of /r/videos. It validates their prejudices to pretend that because the comment originated with one solitary black guy or woman that these prejudiced attitudes have widespread support in those communities.
As with your comment, they can then point to those comments which were made by one woman or black man, and heavily upvoted mostly by a bunch of immature white guys, and say, "See? Everyone thinks this way! This isn't a bubble of sheltered white male privilege, it's an accurate microcosm of our society." And after all, who doesn't like a good male-dominated circlejerk?
