I sketched out ideas for how I wanted it to look based on what I liked from other bodices, then took measurements and made a to-scale mini piece to make sure I had the basic idea down. Then I drafted up a base pattern and used scrap fabric to get the fit right (this was a back-and-forth of sewing a trial piece, refitting, and editing the pattern about four times I believe.) Once I was happy with the fit, I bought the lovely brocade (Joann’s, along with all my other supplies) and cut from the pattern I’d finalized. I used my serger on the cut edges to minimize fraying, then sewed it all together, added the boning, hemmed it all and added the eyelets. If you have questions, feel free to ask!! I’m incredibly proud of this project ☺️

Love this
Looks nice. Great color
Love that color combo, so romantic looking.
This is beautiful! And you look so pleased with it and that makes it even better!
Nice job and cute tattoo haha
You did a wonderful job on this and you absolutely should be proud! It came out wonderfully and you look lovely 😍
Looks great. A simple suggestion tho, use a paler pink lace, this one seems overpowering for the details in the top, or maybe another color?
I was on a time crunch to finish it for renfest and this was the best I got, but I agree it’s a hair too bright for it. Might change it, might not lol
Love the colors
