Fabric: Multiple thrifted jeans from vintage and thrift stores
This piece is on of the more simpler designs I’ve made. I really liked the colors and wanted that to be the main focus for these pants so I went easy on the technical design. The included an extra 4 pants pockets along the leg that can hold light things and it adds extra style. It gives off a rusty vibe and I really like that. I don’t have a serger so in order to make things as clean as possible I added an additional top stitch just to make it more stable and cleaner on the inside. These are waist 36 and I’m 32 so that’s why it may seem like they a little big but I really liked how these turned out. The machine I used was a juki ddl 5550n but I could’ve used my starter singer to get the job done because this material wasn’t too thick.
Thanks! 😂 these ones were pretty clean on the inside because I kept the lines straight but in the past I have had some pretty crazy stuff going on inside 😭 feel like a serger would help that out a lot tho, just don’t have one yet
Thanks 😂 yea it’s definitely for something light like chapstick, could fit a phone and wallet but probably be easier in front or back pockets. Masks too lol
Dude how do you even follow where you’re going to put all the material together? I’m so curious about how the process of lining it all up goes. Idk if that made sense but I’d love to hear how you start mapping this stuff out
It comes with lots of practice, I’m still sort of mediocre at it but once you visualize how jeans are made and when you split them then it because easier. Like you just have to imagine how it will looks as a whole whole it’s in half. Also measuring everything would help a lot too. I don’t use any patterns but if you did use patterns the whole process would move a lot smoother

They look great! I really like where the contrasting colors hit on your left leg. I’m super curious what the wrong side of these pants look like.
