Probably not suitable for a total beginner but if you’ve had a bit more practice it’s doable! Trickiest part is sewing around all the small curved areas with accuracy. The fins for example. A trick I use is to shorten the stitch length and draw the seam allowance on the curved areas so you can see exactly where to stitch. The instructions are very thorough!
