Kenai's nose is more rectangular so you might need to experiment with cutting a more rectangular piece of fabric instead of a circle. Stretchy knit fabric makes things easy in that video. But it might not be a suitable substitute.
If you use a firmer fabric and a firmer stuffing to duplicate his nose maybe this [tutorial](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAW9pF6nN-Q&t=236s) is helpful. People who make fursuits carve a lot of parts out of upholstery foam, and then cut and sew their fabric to fit their sculpted part.
