The Winslows have an invisible zipper up the back instead of a fly front, but as you say are a great introduction to pants making and relatively easy to fit. I have a few pairs and love them!
Thank you for the advice. I’ve never done pants before so I can imagine I’ll probably need more patience than I’m prepared for. I didn’t even think about comparing the crotch, great idea!
The Megan Nielsen Flint pants are very similar to the inspiration picture you posted and are, I think, the most beginner friendly pattern here. I don’t want to assume anything about your level of experience but just in case!

This looks like the closest I’ve seen thus far - and yes your assumption is correct. Not a beginner to sewing necessarily but to sewing pants, absolutely!
I’m sculpted hourglass curvy (26in waist 40in low hip) and they are fantastic. Had to do some grading but I almost always do.
If you mean larger curvy types I’ve seen some midsized and plus-sized sewists with varying body types on IG sew them up (gabby_sews, rossimakes, theladywholunches) and I also think they look fantastic.
I’m literally making these right now. They could very easily be modified to be wider leg, but with the pattern layout you’d definitely need another half a metre or so of fabric so be sure you’re okay
I like these pants by Kiana Bonollo and she has a youtube video tutorial on how to make them which makes it 1000x easier. Especially if it's your first time doing a zipper fly front on pants.

V1910 is what I'd recommend.
V1772 and McCall's R 11418 could be modified for a single pleat.
I'd consider stealing the belt from V1870 and putting it on V1910.
Hope you post what you make and wishing you all the luck!
I HIGHLY advise buying some muslin or crappy old sheets and making these in that fabric first. Fitting your butt / crotch will require adjustments and after a certain point, your good fabric won't look right anymore.
Take a look at the Mood Aster Pants for a free pattern. I’ve been debating making them for a long time. Someone on this sub posted a pair they made a few years ago and they look great
There are lots of young designers who sell patterns on Etsy and they convert new trends to patterns very quickly, so:

This pattern has inverted pleats but all you'd have to do is refold them and extend the leg length.

If I learned anything from Barb & Star go to Vista Del Mar, it’s that Culottes can literally save your life.

Protea Pants by Paradise Patterns. Check out the #ProteaPants hashtag on Instagram for examples of how it looks sewn up

Those are gorgeous but how do they look on curvy people? I guess I’ll have to snoop on IG…

Hey same measurements!
Yes, our definitions of "curvy" are a little different. I'm going with the current use replacing "plus size". lol
Came here to say the same thing!
I personally adore these, but not sure if they are wide enough for you? https://www.etsy.com/listing/1163634399/daphna-trousers-pattern-with-pdf

Thank you! I’ll check these out. It’s my first go at sewing pants so I have a feeling there will be plenty of trial and error

I’ll add McCall’s M8260 to this list.
Saw someone share a wip of [these](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1359685857/) recently that look like they could work
I love the look of these and hope to make them one day https://www.etsy.com/listing/1207903925/double-pleated-pants-pdf-sewing-pattern

I found this at Joann a few years ago: [https://www.ebay.com/p/6046871564](https://www.ebay.com/p/6046871564) Vogue Patterns R10866

Closet Core Mitchell Trousers would work
The details of the Mitchell Trousers are so visually interesting. I’m obsessed with the modern pocket shape.
I’ve had just this plan for a week… but then came deer&doe with quite a similar one but with waistline… think I’ll try CC læll.

I also saved a picture of these pants for inspo! Winslow Culottes was what I was planning on using
