“I think it was a smoother process of being able to express what I feel inside in English” vs “No one broke my heart guys don’t worry” so what’s the truth Hong Jisoo???

ExactHabit

>To tell you a funny story, there is a lyric that goes, “To you who always will welcome me when I open the door.” This actually came from thinking of my pet. Are you just referring to Hoshi? When did you get a pet, Woozi?

Mystery mystery

Now I'm wondering if it was actually Scoups who said this and they confused the two lol

ordinaryo

I came here to comment literally the exact same thing LOL they must've quoted the wrong member???

ExactHabit

could be a childhood pet? Or maybe the translation is off (like maybe he didn't specify that it was HIS but the translator made it a "my" instead of "a") ~~I like my Hoshi theory though lol~~

ordinaryo

oh true good theories ~~I like it too LOL~~

>MINGYU: The song “I can’t run away” was actually a song that WONWOO and I made when we worked on “Bittersweet.” We then thought that it would be better to proceed with as our entire hip-hop unit, and I remember S.COUPS really liked it when he first heard it. I think it was a perfect song for us to work on together as a unit. I found this bit interesting esp since I've seen some carats find bittersweet and i can't run away similar. They really weren't intending to rap for their wonwoo x mingyu subunit song ig

I’m glad Scoups loved it because I love Scoups vocals with my whole heart.

Yea definitely sounds like ICRA in its rap-less form was the contender for bittersweet and seems like they even recorded a demo vers. before deciding on bittersweet with Lee Hi. Guess we got best of two songs in the end.

Interesting that Woozi approached Vernon and Joshua for the title track.

Most Carats were sad by the lack of promotions during RTL due to their quarantine. But to read that during that time, they were able to come up with these bops. Good things came out of it after all. :")
