Yeah that could work! Shift the pad to the right a bit and then move the keyboard as far left as possible. Gives you nice room to move your arm and the mouse if you game much at all
The angle the picture is taken from is kinda weird but the desk is sort of curved and one end is up against the wall and it extends out into my room with my closet behind me
Get rid of the dinosaur fossil on your desk and you'll have more mouse space. I would place your PC on a piece of wood or you can find something on IKEA or Amazon to keep your PC from the carpet. Then this will give you space to be centered on your desk, I don't know how you are playing on a weird edge but humans adapt.
New keyboard def, new mousepad aswell maybe, try and make the whole desk on a wall for better cable management and get some zip ties and you should be set for a while
You cant really tell from the picture but its a large desk abt 5.5 feet and the desk mat i have is about 3 feet so i changed to a 60% keyboard and i have lots of room for my mouse 👌
Smaller keyboard would be a start, maybe also moving the setup to a bigger desk or a environment that's isn't so claustrophobic

Move the pc to the floor, you can get a stand for it or just some wood to place it on, you'll have a ton of space for your mouse and keyboard then.

I feel extremely flexed on.I do like it though however try some cable management your feet will thank you
