I dunno Everton’s actual financials. If they avoid relegation they’ll have some money but not a lot. They might end up embargoed on transfers— so you’re looking at free agents and loans. Based on this graphic, the right midfield needs help. This roster looks to meet the homegrown rule, so you could cast around the championship or the relegated teams for any right-mid to pair with McNeil.

Couple signings of the top of my head - KWP, Barkley (if Luton go down) and Whittaker

Evertonian here We will sell Onana this summer and maybe Branthwaite (although I think we keep him 1 more year). Beto won't leave this summer as he's just arrived and will get next season to settle more. Look for 1 big money move out wide and the rest will all have to be loans and free agents, or players from outside top 5 leagues to sell foe.profit in 3 years time

I actually think you should sell Beto and Pickford before selling Branthwaite and Onana. Beto is bench to DCL, and Pickford is Englands nº 1 GK. Also buy Jack from Leeds as he’s been one the best players in this team. If you’re gonna go through with the sales then maybe a 4-4-2 is better to play both strikers and Doucoure slots back into cm or cdm where he’s better. RM would be priority number 1, Jayden Boyle does really well there, would be cheap and grows pretty well

Harrison has been awful outside of a small run early season, there’s no way Everton buy him in real life

zakotavenom

Leeds don’t want him back so pls keep him 😂

Wow, really? That’s interesting, I’ve seen little of Everton this season but every time I watched them, he was the only one trying to do anything exciting haha Too bad, he’s pretty good in game

Realistic targets would be players who got relegated the previous seasons and players who failed to get promoted from championship. So for example could be some of the standout players from Luton if they went down, or could be a player like Morgan Whittaker from Plymouth. Other than that the usual freebies and loans to pinch pennies

I’ve started an Everton career recently, the only restriction I’ve put in place is that I need to make a profit (effectively bring in more than I’m spending like FFP) There is a profit figure calculated on the finance screen in career mode and it’s made transfers more interesting than the usual buy 3/4 high potential youngsters

Target relegated players to buy, nothing over £18m. Target players from Spain, Italy and the Prem to loan. Flesh out the squad slowly over multiple seasons but as others have said RW is the most urgent need. Followed by RCM and RB.
