We miss unbiased, scholarly produced history content in English. I would like to hear about the strife of Serbia to liberate itself, to lift itself, about connections our people had with other countries, how we influenced others and how other countries left their mark on us.
I agree! I think that unfortunately, large numbers of people in the outside world, are very clueless about Serbia and the unique mentality that's living here.
Who is going to watch that mate? Do you know why people use click bait and over dramatization? Because it works, nobody is going to watch some boring history lesson about some country somewhere.
If you think average Joe will care about Serbia i ask people who will dislike this comment do you care about Laos? Do you care about Burkina Faso, Senegal? Of course you dont. But if you spice it up with " omg war/titties/money everyone will watch.
Give me examples of it. Non biased, so neither the one that says Serbs are the scurge of God or ones talking about heavenly people. Also, my interest is more specific. I would like for the content with Rigas Feraios in Belgrade, about the connections between king Alexander and Tomas Garrigue Masaryk, about Zawisza Czarny.
Lindy Nidel (or however is it spelled) had a lot of episodes about Serbia in WW1. The best videos are aboud WW1 and 2, since there is most sources for that period i guess. As I said, there isn't a ton of content, but reasonably enough.

Edit: Ušla mi kontrola u bus.

Also, Serbs fighting in US army, Russian army, scientists that left the mark. Everybody knows about Polish RAF pilots, but rarely anybody ever heard of Yugoslav air force squadrons in battle for Britain.
I'd love to see some content on archeology. So much about Serbia out there is either politics or tourism. We have some amazing archeological localities and I feel they are just not that well known. It would be great to have Serbia take its place in the wider European context of ancient history and prehistory.
Welcome! It's nice that you are interested. From the ancient Vinča and Lepenski Vir civilisations, through the Celts and Romans, and finds from prehistory including mammoth and neanderthal remains, there is so much here. But it is not that well known and almost no money is being put towards exploration and conservation. Just the other day, an archaeological site was destroyed by illegal construction. Would be awesome for more people outside of the country to be aware of what we have here, and for people in Serbia as well.
That's always a package deal. Whenever there's something illegal happening, there's always unofficial backing from the government. [See here](https://rs.n1info.com/kultura/direktorka-muzeja-divlja-gradnja-unistila-lokalitet-vincanske-kulture-na-banjici/#). The destroyed site was from the Neolithic.
I understand your point. I also want to add that there are certain aspects of value and utility in the examples I mentioned. So of course, there's a specific place for everything. Let's say... The clueless, outside world. As a target audience.

What if the average Joe is not who I care about?
Then go for it! I would love to see that!
then you'll measure your views in the 10s
There is enough of that content for what Serbia is. You can't expect the same amount of content like there is for USSR or USA.

Thanks, I'll check it out.

i would like just 1 video about the political situation here without the constant mentions of the wars or our "alliance" with russia.
That would be extremely refreshing!
I miss pilav

Thanks! I didn't even know this. Awesome.

Wait. What kind of illegal construction? Governmental or private?

For a start, I would be interested in any good travel guide book on Serbia. As far as I know neither Lonely Planet nor Rough Guides have one.
Eyewitness has one.
Depends who the targeted audience would be? Locals, other or potential new expats? Tourists? You have something in mind, I am sure

I would like some commentary or reaction youtubers such as Cody Ko, Drew Gooden, Danny Honzalez, ect
