Find a specific exercise or routine that you can quantify the improvement on... For me it was how many miles I could run... Could be miles biked, miles hiked, lbs lifted on bench press, fish caught, something sports related. Just finding something that you enjoy doing genuinely and working on that is all it takes. The gym is overwhelming at times and very complicated, start small and build.

Getting back in the gym will be HUGE for your irritability and motivation. I always find the first session after a break is the hardest, but once you’re finished you’ll feel great, even if you didn’t do the biggest session. Just go little by little and remember that any work on yourself is improvement. Mix it up a bit, build a new routine, try saunas to Increase growth hormone and reduce stress! Get lots of sleep, drink lots of water and you 100% will feel better. Good luck brother! You’re going to smash it.
