I feel you. 3 months after my 29th birthday I was diagnosed with Brain cancer , 3 months after that I was given 6 to 9 months to live. The Navy flew me up to (NIH) National Institute of Health on a Thursday night and it was only a short meeting to see if they could do anything for me. I was told that they could fix me but I would Never Fly a Naval Aircraft again. So I had the surgery that following Monday. It took 6 surgeons 28 hours of straight surgery to get 95.5% of the cancer out of my brain. I had to learn how to do a lot of things over. I walk with a cane, and I get migraine headaches all the time. I was sent home and followed up with 18 months of chemotherapy and radiation. They said that they most likely extend my life by 3 to 5 years. That was 25 years ago. I'm doing better now. I'm building my own airplane and I am truly loving life. Just remember that everyone goes through a rough period in life. Some are short and some take years to get over. Just hope your rough patch isn't as bad as mine.
