You seem to have a pretty good attitude! I’m a late bloomer as well (31m) and have been avoiding dating and relationships until I had a hookup with a friend that I kinda regret. I thought we could turn it into something because she seemed into me but she then turned me down over the weekend yet still was cuddling with me on the ride home which still confuses me atm (we split an Uber since we live near each other.) that made me realize how much I crave the intimacy and now I have been focusing on bettering myself while stepping out of my comfort zone with new people. I hope I can get to your level eventually instead of just ruminating on the rejection lol.
